I witnesseda game between clg and st pauls ...a game way above div7 standard ..the game apart from one incident that was very well handled by the clg coach was a great game of footy ...the umpires handled it very well ,no player on either team shirked an issue and both sides were desperate to win...does anyone know how the guy from st pauls is as i know some clg boys want to see if he is ok...te clg coach does not put up with cheap shots by his players and the matter is being dealt with ,i am aware of that ,although as i was close by it was not intentional i am sure of that ...i walked away havig witnesses a high standard very competitive game of footy and this comp is alive and well ...i congatulate st pauls on clg on wanting to make sure that thier clubs progress well down to both coaches i will contiune to read with ineterest what you guys talk about and love your passion for your clubs in my opinion there is clg and stpauls and then there is space for others to catch up but its all great go local footy i say ...

Well said. Look i understand it may be frightening that someone is recovering in hospital but no one was laughing at this matter. In fact, everyone is hoping the guy is ok but all i have to say it that as an observer, there was a a fair bit of dirty play from the other side too. This is footy. You put your self in these positions by agreeing to play. Both sides played really well and the guy who is in hospitals mum was telling the clg player that it wasn't his fault and to not take notice of all the abusing he was getting. Its unfortunate but look people do actually care and i think everyone is making it out to be worse than it is. I agree, it was a great game on the weeked between st pauls and clg and its why we watch local footy.

his mum went to hospital with him and if you think someone dropping his knees like he did is football your a crazy man
football is a contact sport
punch tackles etc everyone can handle thats footy
not someone trying to get up and be in a defensless posi like that to have a coward drop his knees
if it wasnt that bad why did clg coach take him off and drag him and tell me it was totally unacceptable what he did!
as i have said in all my senior footy i have seen some things but nothing as cowardly as that and i really hope the amateur league goes through with their investigation

Horse punch tackled all day ,he played really well, but he targets ball players ,harvey and full back were having bit of niggle ,nothing in it ...in my view ,no need for any investigations ,matter was and is dealt with.by the club and the coach ,as an observer of the best game each week ,clg were below thier best and still got up in the end ,remember they were four up at one stage ,but st pauls kept coming at them ....clg and st pauls ,heading forward ...clg have some very skilled players ,who play the ball ,as do st pauls number 3 was great ...

1st time in 3 years!
and what was it for????
grabbing a bloke by the guernsey! pffft
and full back gets sent of for being too fired up ffs
what was funny was harvey absolutely shitting himself running away after our full back got fired up after he cowardly charged someone with no intent at all for the football

and then for another bloke to drop knees into someone in a gutless manner like what happened yesterday i hope your club has the guts to do something bout it (umpires didnt see it ffs)
when a blokes on the ground trying to get up and someone deliberately drops his knees bad enough to give the player a collapesed lung was the worst thing i have seen in 16 years of senior footy.
what was another amazing thing was the umpiring of how bad it really was in the first half and then all of a sudden barry oates is there and oh the umpires lost their maroon eye!(not saying the umpires cost game) just saying they were f*cking Pathetic and biased in 1st half!

but maybe some of your blokes should stop running around telling everyone how much money they are all on and being arrogant and cocky enough to be saying 7 zip half way through the 2nd quarter cos if your spending all that money on players and can only beat a side where nobody is getting a cent by 2 points seems a waste of $ and noone i saw was worth more than $50 a game
in country leagues you would be embarrassed to take their money!

just hope we make you c*cky pricks (a grade) realise its not going to be all one way traffic this year!

oh and who ever said about horse not liking a challenge i hope he was there yesterday and has the balls to get on here and say what he thought!

scotty congratulations to your b grade they played some ok footy
i reckon williams had 38 marks in a game. phenominal but dumb by our blokes in the 2's to keep kicking it to him over and over again

  This was Gold, and i thought he was a tough guy!
Running away holding his head saying "please don't hit me" haha

Awesome summary Bradman i've seen some dirty acts on the field but what i saw saturday took the cake, let me tell you all this is not the last we'll hear about it...if i was No.3 for CLG reckon i would be faking an injury next time we meet.

Also when the heat was on in the last 5 mins let's just say if the game was being televised on channel 10 i reckon in the top right hand corner it would have read "CRICHTON BOYS : GONE MISSING"

no you actually do only have 3 players. barnesy and a couple of middfielders. also i tried to spend as little time in the change rooms possible which is probably why i missed your big plans. oh and whats with your oval you have two sanded cricket pitches going across the oval at CHF and CHB or what ever....weird.

So No.3 for CLG can play next week while our club captain is sitting in hospital and could well miss a large portion of the season cos of a cheap shot, yet there shouldn't be an investigation  are you fair dinkum?

If you also think St Pauls were playing at their best and were full strength you're very mistaken, think at last count we have 10 players out at the moment, hence why our B's have struggled in recent weeks.

Bring on the rematch is all i can say!

Undermanned again with no bench after half time but having said that CLG B grade are good very good best side we've played this year, don't know what's happened but i can only assume they have had a few A graders comeback which has strengthened their magoos.
Well done Scottyroo!

Watch out for dropping knees when you're not looking and blokes running around halfway through the game telling you 8 nil & how much they get paid.

Why do you all have to be so nasty? I was there. i saw the mum talking to harvey so unless your 100% sure don't try and tell me otherwise. It has been delt with and the clg coach did so very well. For god sake, yes we understand the drop of the knees was in some peoples eyes very innapropriate but drop it, does this mean they are the worlds worst team NO. Jesus there has been worst happen. You would have nothing to talk about if it didn't, your having a go for all the wrong reasons. At no point do any of the boys run around bragging that they have money. A couple of the boys at clg offered to play for free so they could play with their mates. You guys seriously have no idea. Stop making cheap calls to the boys and talk about something we really want to hear about. Everyone is here for one reason and its the discuss good footy, no need to get so negative really is there...and $350...seriously...what is wrong with you

i was on the ground and i kid you not #5 running around saying another $350 for me rubbing his fingers!
i can only go by and tell you what he was saying!
and i think the only reason you want the subject changed is you want the heat taken off the coward!
the game was good to be involved in but an act like that will always take prescedence in blokes views

Look Bradman I am not trying to start an arguement with you i just feel that some things you say are a little rude. Sorry i wasn't aware that that was said by number 5 however i do know that he isn't getting paid that much. I am not changing the subject but what has been done is done, we can't change that. What i do know is that he isn't a coward because he does care about the guys condition. Some would say it was a good hip and shoulder others wouldn't but NO ONE is laughing about it ok. So i don't think clg should cop it...thats al im saying...
