If I was there watching the game without any affiliation to either club, that would have been one of the best B grade games Ive seen in recent times. I was in the back pocket for Haven though, so the last quater wasnt a great time for me.![]()
Being round 1, its hard to know where we're at because Glenunga are a bit of an unknown until they've played a few more teams. Our side is young, and hopefully the maturity will come throughout the season, because when it does, we're going to be a great team. Having said that, we arent there yet, and its going to take time.

There didnt seem to be any bias towards either team from either of the umps, and they didnt effect the score at all.

Great game to watch but a very empty feeling at the end.
Miegel....freaking unit. Funny seeing a guy who stands clearly a head above his opponents and is very agile for a man his size.
How did Schoefield go?

Yeah good point H, have to agree with you there. The worst decision of the day came from the boundary umpire, who called the ball out when it was still in play by at least a metre. (I'm pretty sure you were involved in that passage of play with a brillant spoil and follow up.) The whistle went and every player in that area of the ground stopped and cracked it, those type of calls frustrate the hell out of you.
