Bang! BFG and his boys will be consuming a few happy beers tonight one would think ;)

just a couple of quiet ones valleys nothing to extreme, saving my liver for miss CLG next week!
me winning players player just goes to show that the players are horrible judges of who played well on the day hahaha.
on a serious note, the win yesterday was one of the better ones ive been involved with at the club. probably our first four quarter effort all year and we got the result. good signs for next year with blokes improving every week

United look safe in the 5, would be very unlikely to lose to Ingle Farm in rd 18 i would have thought
however if Uni get up over United this week and Houghton over TOS it would make for a very interesting rd 18

houghton would definately be a chance against trinity this week. not sure if the tossers will be getting a few back as they seemed to be missing a couple out of the midfield but even so with the way houghton have been going they would be quietly confident i would think

I wouldn’t have thought Houghton would be to confident coming away from Saturday's game at home against Kenilworth!

houghton beat TOS in the first round..TOS are not kenilworth..kenilworth have worked over all the teams in div 6 by fair margins except blacks and units..houghton will go into the game a live chance for sure..

wins over uni and united the two weeks previous suggests they were going ok. a near 100 point loss is never good for confidence but considering how they have gone against teams ranked close to trinity in the last few weeks i rekon they would be confident of causing an upset, especially having beaten them already this year.

Love a $ for every bloke I've seen in the lower divs over the years who in higher divs or better standard league and because they don't get the ball on a silver platter they can't get a kick....

Two horse race in my opinion. Blacks are only danger to Kenilworth. Not much between 3-8 at the moment

Got to disagree on that a bit from what I've seen in my time at the Sharks. When quality players from D1 or D2 come down to D6/7 they do usually dominate - they know how to find and win the ball whether they get silver service or not. In my experience it has more often been the D1R players who perhaps think they are a little better than they are that are more likely to come down and struggle a bit with the bigger bodies and lower skill level.

We were lucky enough to have Darren Holland (previously from the Eagles) play a game with us in the Cs a few years back when he was coming back from injury - he kicked 8 goals off a wing in 2 1/2 quarters, he certainly didn't struggle! But I must say, it was a privilege playing full forward when you had Dutchy kicking to you...that was silver service!

i rekon glenunga with a full side are a chance as well. i do agree though blackfriars probably the biggest threat to kenilworth for the flag at the moment

trying to do my team of the year, got most of it sorted but struggling a bit with the last line of defence. the team is by no means perfect but thought i'd have a crack anyway

B: ????
HB: wood (clg) moser (Kenilworth) Goldsmith (kenilworth)
C: T. Mcgowan (CLG) Horsell (BOS) R. Tremain (IF)
HF: S. Buss (GFC) L. Davis (HDFC) S. Brammer (KFC)
F: A. Cotter (TOS) T. Hillman (BOS) P.Hall (CU)

R: D. Maxwell (CLG) N. Jones (henley) B. Woodward (CU)
I: G. malbunka (IF) M. Roberts (GFC) T. Reid (AUFC) R. Abdulla (CU)

probably need more uni players in it, really struggled with the back 3 because
a) i dont know if there has been a standout full back this year
b) also because ive been in the backlines the second half of the year i dont really notice who has played well in opposition backlines.

if osborne had played a full year he definately would have been in, was the most dangerous FF that we played against.
