Mitcham v para hills was a fantastic game. When I ventured frm the changeroom we were certainly on top
If just took us way too long to put them away after they pegged us back in the second qtr. Flynn sent off and gave away 3 25m penalties. Was very surprised to see levy in the seconds. Quality footballer

Heard the same rumour, and would not surprise me if he started it himself. Heard players and support staff getting sick of his attitude. Telling the runner to F off and not leave the ground is not a good thing. Good luck to any club that pays him .Told him there is no I in team and he repied "no, but there's 7 in individual brilliance". Yet to prove himself in a decent team or comp.
So he can't count either
Probably not
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

Cracking win for the Lions with a 9-goal-to-2 last quarter getting us over the line. Full credit to Pooraka - they're a good young side and play hard, attacking footy. They took some beating saturday.

All the expected results occurred - looke like theres a far gap between the top 6 and others.

i think CBCOC are a much better side then there position on the ladder indicates, definatly go against the traditional college team tag and are a tough football side, as posted earlier just lacking a few few guns specially with Douglas and Hegarty leaving at the start of the year and Younie not playing just lack a bit of Polish, there back 6 was very tight and didnt give an inch all day the only forward that probably get the better of there opponent for the Day was Lipson but unfortunatly kicked inacuratly with 3.4 and 2 on the full. i definatly think they will win more games on the stretch home than did in the first half of the year.
on Jarman i dont think he touched the ball in the first half, got a couple of Cheeky kicks in the second half but had no impact on the game what so ever

Just like to thank Flinders Park for the spankings they gave us on the weekend. Appreciated.... :(

Honestly though, way too good, so well drilled and well skilled and played their oval and the wind really well. Gave us a massive lesson in both grades...

choccies i dont think last w/e was the best w/e to come up against us after being given a football lesson by mitcham. we were ultra keen on making amends on that performance and had a decent first half of football but sort of fell away from the high standards, set in the 1st half, in the 2nd half of the game. credit to you guys though, u stuck at it all day and made us work for the footy. was a good game and we are happy we're back on the winnners list. The boys are very much looking forward to this weeks game.

Mitcham were a good side too. Ran us ragged all day. We just need the young lads to find some consistency week in and week out. We are Jekyll and Hyde at the minute as we were in the 2 quarters we played against PH last week. Terrible early and great late.... You blokes just used the ball really well out the back of the packs and got rewards inside 50. Way too good and hopefully we can bounce back this week if we get a few players back in.

Not too bad. Him and Scotty Peterson just did what they did last time they met and just smashed and crashed into each other all day. It gets kinda amusing in the end.... especially if there's not much else to cheer about !!! Flinders Pk did have a few decent looking girls floating about during the day to keep us smiling too so we should thank them for that... ;)

I hear SMOSH were 6 goals down at 3qtr time & a couple of young lads from the U\18s ( George & Gates ) set the tone in the last with 5 goals between them to get them home.

Could of been 4 losses in a row for SMOSH, the last qtr could be the turning point for the year.
I know they still have alot of injuries but time is running out for them. ( Seaton breathing down their necks in 6th )
Good to see the U\18 lads get a crack in the As & they didn't let their club, coach & team-mates down, great effort.

Exaggerated a bit last week NM, we were only 4 goals down at 3/4 time, and the young fellas got 3 between them.

Mitcham in some ominous form atm.

Looking forward to the trip to GG this week - Never played out there before - hows the oval holding up GG lads?

The oval is fine, the cricket pitch area in the middle is a bit gluggy but better than it has been. I'd say of the 5 pitches there 2 are fairly grassed and 3 are not (to put it nicely). But there is plenty of space around the ground to use instead.

turbo,

just make sure you aren't "sling tackled" on the pitches tomorrow.
becuase if it doesnt rain and its rock solid its like concrete.... really uneven concrete.

watch the ankles to.

and definately dont have a running bounce through it..

also how big is the Pembroke V Para Hills game this week....
very big in regards to relegation etc
