At least it will apparently reach 17 :D

i heard some farmers wanted to borrow hope valley oval during the week and leave there pigs in the middle of the ground great mud pit

*YAWN* this comes up every year. We have some 600 little feet grinding it down Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sun. Plus seniors, plus touch football on wednesday nights. It's actually holding up quite well considering. I've seen it a lot worse at this time of year than it is now. A bit of mud never hurt anyone. We are still playing grass roots football, aren't we?

maybe buy that church out the front rip it down and build a second oval :)

HV beat Heccies by 9 or 10 goals = we needed that!

and I think Pooraka only scraped in against Greenacres.

Not sure about most important. Definitely match of the round though.

HV v CBCOC pretty important to the side who wants to stay in Div 4 next year.

With a little over a month of footy left, how would the team of the year be looking?

Seemingly easy to pick the forwards and mids but the back 6 is tricky.

Anyone game to have a crack?

For me the locks would be Shane Scudds, Aloisi, Dunkley, Aish, S Peterson, Sheppard, Wellington, Sykes

Should we start the arguing from there?

Duggan, Farrell and Mitchell. (Hope valley) would be around the mark somewhere on the games I have seen

Better than i thought it would be, There are a few patches around the ground that are very soft,

Depends how much rain we get between now and tomorrow, It doesnt drain the best so we could have a few small ponds around the place as well
