would there have been much difference between the last 5 Div 1 sides and the top 5 Div 2 sides this year? From reports ive heard the likes of Modbury could have made the Div 1 finals. Ive never seen a Div 1 game before, had the gap closed between Div 1 and 2?

I only saw one div 2 game this year but I hear the top 4-5 div 2 sides were exceptionally strong this year. Don't know about making the 5 in div 1 though.

I doubt that would be the case. the top couple of Div 2 teams probably would have given the bottom few a run but to suggest Modbury would have made the Div 1 final is a bit adventurous IMO.

Yeah thats a big call Shrekky. Modbury and SHOC probably had the teams to compete ok in div 1 but doubt they would have made finals. Both had some good players in the teams but the depth of both clubs wouldnt have been strong enough for div 1 IMO. a few injuries would have exposed the gap between the divisions. A few TTG boys came and watched Mobdury's finals they seem to think that we would have been able to stay up last year with the squad but said we wouldnt have played finals....
