i heard some farmers wanted to borrow hope valley oval during the week and leave there pigs in the middle of the ground great mud pit

no worse than anyone elses at the minute Robb - and it was commented to me on Sunday by a BL person that they were even pleasantly surprised to see the odd bit of greenage in the square :lol:

i reckon pulteney will be a mess this weekend. getting that way last week.

i know its only really mnior but is there any reason the reserves ladder hasn't been updated?

*YAWN* this comes up every year. We have some 600 little feet grinding it down Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sun. Plus seniors, plus touch football on wednesday nights. It's actually holding up quite well considering. I've seen it a lot worse at this time of year than it is now. A bit of mud never hurt anyone. We are still playing grass roots football, aren't we?

A few former Greenacres players were having discussions on Sunday about returning to the club to assist with the B Grade numbers, including former A grade B & F winner Graeme 'the whiz' Hudson. Tight shorts and a spot at Full Forward were a non negotiable.
