Big team meeting just finished, 2.5 hours talking about how to stop Donnelly. An 18 man flood seems to be the only way to go.

Alex is very happy. Does a mean moonwalk.

How's the Gatto investigation going? With a name like Gatto he must be criminal. They might find out as well as elbowing Fuller he's been involved in underworld killings.

I'm at home doing the right thing tonight, can't say as much for boozehound. He was sinking piss straight after the game, said he didn't care about the loss because he's already signed for Virginia. This was straight from the horses mouth. He was even trying to scope out whether any of us were keen to head out there too.

Bigs news at Kilburn that a retiring AFL legend may be heading to Lionel Ave. in 2009.

good win today shreky, looks as if EP had've kicked straight could have been a different result. how did the new Virginia coach go ? [ if you looked at him and GP from behind they could almost be twins, so not a major adjustment for the Virginians ]

The result wasn't due to inaccurate kicking. We missed 3 or 4 goals from almost straight infront and should have been further ahead at half time. EP came back in the last quarter as the umpires became more prominent. I thought the game was well umpired(most stuff was let go) until the last quarter. Not getting ahead of ourselves though, we will have to play EP again if we want to play in the GF. Great crowd for a crappy day too.

Walkies did us a big favour by losing and if we win next week we will finish third. Iggies are playing to finish fifth(assuming Para Hills lose to FP) though so they will be a tough opponent. They did lose to Salisbury but in today's weather I wouldn't be reading too much into results. Seems as if Pag and I may have written off Para Hills a little early, it will be very interesting to see how they go against FP this week.

Managed to get the student to part with some of his austudy to buy me a beer, the other boys were pretty surprised...as was I.

Saw Wilson get his match payment.......they had to use a sack truck and amourguard just to get it to his car......

Hey boozehound, during the game did it ever cross your mind to leave the goal square? Maybe leading out and getting a kick would increase your match payments. If your kids(I'm assuming they're yours) take after their father they will cost a lot to feed.

Get used to running because Greg Phillips will expect more effort than you showed on the weekend.

Thanks for giving us some credit mate... Iggies kicked the first two and after that we outplayed them all day.
