What's everyone's opinions on where the Goodwood Saints are at? Still favourites, probably along with Henley, or have they dropped down the list a bit after the last three weeks?
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

Still have to be equal favourites I would think
Im guessing here but is quite common practice, they have probs upped the amount of work they are doing on the track in last few weeks to get right for finals and this has shown on the field. Will drop it down in next few weeks.
they will be ripe and ready for action come first week of finals!

Agreed IF, I reckon they're still equal favourites aswell. At they the moment they're just moving along and then will peak around finals time and do their best work where it really matters.

I concur. I seriously doubt they would be worried about their current losing streak when looking at the big picture. The most this is doing is giving Henley extra confidence. Wait till finals time (as usual) and they will come out of their shells, and will end up winning number 6 on the trot.

obviously a rumour, but heard a few different people talk about it now. The idea of Goodwood making a side in the SANFL.

how do you think they would go just on a playing level??

Lets not worry about the oval being to small, facilites not up to scatch, not having the administration or money Im guessing and other things.

I think they would be competitive against most SANFL reserve sides but would struggle against all the league sides.

If they recruited within the SAAFL, all divisions, and were able to get quite a number of clubs top players then I would think they could be competitive against league teams. My opinion only.

there biggest problem would be getting the blokes to commit to the more rigourous training, thats the reason alot of the blokes leave the SANFL in the first place.

Agree they may not get all the players they want because of this but some I would think would like to have another go. Also quite a few left the SANFL because lack of opportunity and again would most probably like another chance.

I woulndnt worry about Goodies yet. Yes they have lost a few games but with the quality of players they have, i cant see anyone knocking them off the big stage

Not sure about that Chocko I think Henley will be the team to beat them if they play against each other in the GF.

Possibly the GF this year will be between Henley & Salisbury North if form stays the same.

Goodies have just got to finish in the 5 to be a chance, which they will.......something about that footy club and september that ticks...

The sharks imo have the side to beat them, but can they put it together in the finals?

NM, you had better firstly take your temperature, then a Bex powder with water and have a quiet lie down somewhere. You can't be feeling well tipping the Sharks surely!
