I may of been wrong with the identity of the player, if it was no.23 Spencer he should of been sent off & made an example of.
Your right with Joe Hay, i was shocked to see Bartel given 2nd best for Goodwood, for 2 games in a row now i believe Hay had the better of Bartel.

Hay played very well and is a good player, but Bartel was sensational in the last quarter when it really counted. I thought the Hawks pace and fitness would get them over the line in the last, but Goodwood's old, experienced heads stepped up once again.

I agree whole heartedly with the rest of your comments.

Does anyone know when Bartel went to Goodwood, if my memory serves me correctly, he played juniors at Salisbury North.

He's probably 31 or 32. Did try at North Adelaide when younger I think

I could be wrong then, i do remember a Dave Bartel playing juniors for Salisbury North, he'd have to be born 1974 though.

Where did you get that from???

Aceman, I knew it as well, it's starting to become common knowledge up north, about the four of them, not just Huddo.

Chris McLean is a gun, so yes. Haven't seen much of the other one, so can't really comment on him. Huddo is a good footballer (played 2s at centrals for 3-4 years), got some size and mobility so he will be OK. The 4th name hasn't come up yet...

Bearing in mind, I haven't seen a lot of A1 football.

Now why didn't anyone else think of that!
