Would easily play D1 and be very, very good. I would suggest more than one club tried to get his signature, but just missed out, after the odd meeting and many phone calls trying to entice him.
As I said mate he is a loss.. He is a fantastic footballer and will be missed but the club couldn't match them. We now move on and with the new blokes we have recruited to the club we focus on 2012. The club is excited about how determined the boys are to make amends to a disappointing finish to 2011 and by the condition a few boys have returned to training in 2012 could be an exciting year for Mitcham.

SMOSH wrapping up 2011 with our last of four sessions before Xmas, and a few cheeky beers and BBQ on wednesday.
Numbers and enthusiasm has been terrific so far. Brad Finney running a sub 14 minute jetty-jetty run the highlight so far.

Haven't heard this rumour, but the two lads Pooraka picked up a couple of years back in Adams and Naylor from Ingle Farm, Naylor is currently living in Canada so Pooraka won't have him but neither will Ingle Farm. Have heard that Leigh Cooper will be returning. Quality hard in and under footballer. Having Cooper and Long off a half back would be a good running line I would have thought.
The major losses however are key position players. Greaves is full on with work in Perth so he is gone from all I have heard, and Leigh Coghill has hung up the boots. Two keys gone could be hard to cover. Although the smell of deep heat in March can always change a few minds from retiring.

Add that Tommy Derham will either be Playing for the Magpies, or playing cricket in England. IS Adams defiantely A Pooraka players next year then?

Adams definately resigned at Pooraka, but have it on very good authority that Naylor may be back at the end of January and is very excited about moving back up the road...... and seeing as Adams is a best mate and follows him from club to club, you just never know what could happen between now and April.

Think Naylor was always going to return to the farm, was just a matter of timing, and as far as I was aware, he was linked with the club a few months back.
As for the comment 'Signed, sealed, delivered', im sure HBF is just saying he is guaranteed to line up in the green & white next season. Looking at the coaching staff, i'm not suprised in the slightest..
