IMO as a coach he was out after midnight and drinking, doesnt matter if he had 1 or 10 how much respect does he have for his team mates or his coach??? Nothing wrong with having a beer or two friday night before a game but come finals drinking and going to bed in early hours of the morning to me shows no respect for your team mates.
Im sure it did cost CLG in a big way not having him play, but i saw HV play the 1st semi and i dont think it would have mattered if he played or not, HV played well and i believe would have won regardless they really wanted the win and it showed on the day. Dont know about the WOS game i didnt see it but i dont think Harvey missing as a player cost CLG the GF, he isnt the super star player he believes he is and i believe the reason it cost CLG is because they lost confidence because he wasnt playing, they could have won without him if they had of got their head around winning without him, a team doesnt win all year because of 1 player and CLG had better players then harvey. HV and WOS played better on the day so there for deserved to both be in the GF.
Not trying to diss Harvey i have nothing agaist the bloke just putting my point across as a coach and would say the same about any player.

how do you know he was out after midnight..were you there?
how do you know he was "out" anywhere..were you there?
how do you know if he was drinking and if he was how many he had?..were you there?
how do you know he went to bed in the early hours?..were you there?
as you said..you didnt see the wos game v clg..i did see it..clg still could have won but they got nothing from their other talls and ferris pulled out a blinder in the last half for wos
there was nothing "mental" that was the problem with clg..they got beat by a more committed team on the day..end of story..with or without harvey they would have lost

deadset man when are you going to learn to shut up? fancy coming out saying a team is s***t when you have to play them this year...i'd hate to be your coach scotty.
can tell you now if you played paralowie last season (2008) i reckon they would have given you boys a bit of a touch up....the roos will be more than competitive in div 6 especially if they keep the players from last year and add some more to it...top 3 finish is my tip!

also riddler how do you know that paralowie would have beaten us this year? you didnt see us play once! we added green from wingfield, wild from edwardstown, heinrich from victor, wood from victor, sheridan from victor, kirkbride from victor, lavey from west plus more, our 2008 team would beat our 2007 team very very easily
