IMO as a coach he was out after midnight and drinking, doesnt matter if he had 1 or 10 how much respect does he have for his team mates or his coach??? Nothing wrong with having a beer or two friday night before a game but come finals drinking and going to bed in early hours of the morning to me shows no respect for your team mates.

Im sure it did cost CLG in a big way not having him play, but i saw HV play the 1st semi and i dont think it would have mattered if he played or not, HV played well and i believe would have won regardless they really wanted the win and it showed on the day. Dont know about the WOS game i didnt see it but i dont think Harvey missing as a player cost CLG the GF, he isnt the super star player he believes he is and i believe the reason it cost CLG is because they lost confidence because he wasnt playing, they could have won without him if they had of got their head around winning without him, a team doesnt win all year because of 1 player and CLG had better players then harvey. HV and WOS played better on the day so there for deserved to both be in the GF.

Not trying to diss Harvey i have nothing agaist the bloke just putting my point across as a coach and would say the same about any player.

how do you know he was out after midnight..were you there?

how do you know he was "out" anywhere..were you there?

how do you know if he was drinking and if he was how many he had?..were you there?

how do you know he went to bed in the early hours?..were you there?

as you said..you didnt see the wos game v clg..i did see it..clg still could have won but they got nothing from their other talls and ferris pulled out a blinder in the last half for wos

there was nothing "mental" that was the problem with clg..they got beat by a more committed team on the day..end of story..with or without harvey they would have lost

time to move on from last year, clg will move forward and harvey knows he has to repay his team mates, look out for a fully fit harvey in 09, hes 100% commited to making 2009 a success, also paralowie will need to step up massively i know in 2007 they had a shit team, but they were very average, and the jump from div 7 to div 6 is huge

didnt do anything wrong, but to miss out on playing in a finals series because of a stupid accident would still make him feel bad, he has unfinished business

wasnt having a go as such, just stating that when i last saw them they were shit, we were shit in 2006 in div 6 but both clubs have turned it around which is a credit to them both, didnt mean it in a cocky or offensive way, im the last bloke in the world who could spurt his mouth off, ive been at colonel light since i was born and know how quickly things change, we are one of the worst at being great one year and then back to square one the next, probably should of stated that i know they recruited strongly last year, my mistake...we look forward to playing you guys too, always a good hard game and good banter between crowds! probly my 2nd favourite road trip behind houghton

deadset man when are you going to learn to shut up? fancy coming out saying a team is shit when you have to play them this year...i'd hate to be your coach scotty.

can tell you now if you played paralowie last season (2008) i reckon they would have given you boys a bit of a touch up....the roos will be more than competitive in div 6 especially if they keep the players from last year and add some more to it...top 3 finish is my tip!

Cheers Riddler. Scottroo has said that he didnt mean it the way it is written i think. Had a look at the premiership pic today and could only count 6 or 7 that played A grade on 2007. Looks like we are only losing one player so far and gaining more. Hopefully we have a good year

im pretty sure most of the paralowie boys would agree that 2007 wasnt there best year, i didnt mean it to offend anyone...by the way riddler, you and your choking mates from saint pauls should stick to the div 7 forum

also riddler how do you know that paralowie would have beaten us this year? you didnt see us play once! we added green from wingfield, wild from edwardstown, heinrich from victor, wood from victor, sheridan from victor, kirkbride from victor, lavey from west plus more, our 2008 team would beat our 2007 team very very easily

i got spies who watched you my little friend....i personally also don't think the jump from div 7 to div 6 is a big as what you think.

paralowie last year at their best were better than a div 6 side mate...with a couple more additions to their side i have no doubt they'll challenge for the div 6 title straight away.

I think West Croydon will be the big improvers. As for Paralowie its pretty big call to make. Clg, Heccies and Lockleys are every chance to improve again.

West Croydon under Matty Mc will no doubt be a better unit both on and off the field i think...it is a big call but seeing them 1st hand this year those who take Paralowie easily next season will be very surprised, Hendo/Dutchy you better not let me down

seriously...paralowie played no-one last year..a bunch of c grade teams and a weak mitchell pk..wow..they will not have it their own way in div 6..it is a bigger jump than some realise
