With our playing history against Plympton over the last few years we always viewed them as a strong contender this year. Last year we were surprised they weren't in the same position they are now. Nevertheless, it was a bitterly disappointing loss. To be in front at half time and then get soundly beaten is hard enough, but when you're trying to honour a life member who passes away during the week, have a bloke playing a milestone game, with top spot/double chance/home final(s) on the line it makes it even more disappointing. Round 1 went to a similar pattern but we always felt that was different after losing blokes during the game and ending up with 17 on the field due to injuries but there was none of that this week. Still, we'll butter up and be ready to go for another big game this week.

Special guest appearance as the bloke who will do it the rest of the year couldn't make it in time. Fingers crossed not required again.
