Not much is said bout umpires on here in a positive way, but SW umpire b grade ump is fantastic I reckon. Possibly the best in the comp

course he would be good when the B grade is crap one sided games normally don't need umpires

Ridiculous comment.

Scudds injured? Taken off in the last not to be seen again when it was tight. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Hip flexor I'm told. Don't think its too bad. We've had a rough run with injuries recently. 2 key players with bad knee injuries (acl and pcl respectively). 3 more soft tissues last week. Peterson (ruckman) should be back next week. Not sure if we will get stent back until finals, if at all, now centrals have him. Good challenge of our depth. 2 kids debut yesterday and held their own

Good to hear, that guy is a machine. We are hoping to see some return to the a's also this week vs westies but more than likely the week after. But we are just like all clubs, this time of year can be tough on club lists with the injury count.

With our playing history against Plympton over the last few years we always viewed them as a strong contender this year. Last year we were surprised they weren't in the same position they are now. Nevertheless, it was a bitterly disappointing loss. To be in front at half time and then get soundly beaten is hard enough, but when you're trying to honour a life member who passes away during the week, have a bloke playing a milestone game, with top spot/double chance/home final(s) on the line it makes it even more disappointing. Round 1 went to a similar pattern but we always felt that was different after losing blokes during the game and ending up with 17 on the field due to injuries but there was none of that this week. Still, we'll butter up and be ready to go for another big game this week.

Special guest appearance as the bloke who will do it the rest of the year couldn't make it in time. Fingers crossed not required again. ;)
