Very happy with how we played today showed some excellent signs. Had some more structure about ourselves this game with OB coaching after being away on work last thursday. There was some niggle through out the game with one of their guys being sent off after a scuffle. The gound we played on was in excellent condition one of the better surfaces where going to play on this year i think.

Did Karl Furbow play today TDK? Is he skipper of the Bgrade again or stepping up this year?

Furbow has retired to concentrate on his other commitment of playing Zeke from Neighbours

Some really great passages of play, good signs from a nearly full strength side 2-3 to come in id say.

Personal Highlights:
Darryl Cotter in defense reading the play like a book
Boozehound with an extremely lazy 8.5 =D>

Didnt see the Reserves but told Choccies side took the choccies! excuse the pun :p

Cs scrapped together a side 30 mins b4 game, with half side Under 16s, i thought played well against an experienced unit like GG. But GG won easily. I contributed nothing! :? 8)

Yep Lizbeff were very impressive in the game against us. With at least 8 to come back in we'd hope to improve on that performance but plenty of run from the middle and half backs saw Lizbeff look very impressive. With the possibility of the FF maybe handballing in season 2010 more goals may just come ;) But we were very impressed by your A's who will be tough to beat that's for sure...

The B's were soundly beaten by us and if anything it showed a large crater between your A's and your B's Duncs. What do you reckon ? How have your B's travelled the last few years ?
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Thats why i was surprised, Our Bs have always been pretty strong, finished higher than our As in last few seasons. But same situation as u guys, certainly not at full strength. they will look very different come Rd 1.... i hope ;)

I think Cenral United are trying to work out with Brahma lodge, they won't let him go to Smithfield because they are in the same grade. You would like to see him play at Central united this year and go to Smithfield next year then not play football at all, which is not good for anyboby concerned.

Im sure a quick check of the rule book might show a small hurdle to a plan to jump from CU to Smithfield

11.10 Any player registered with a Member Club in any one year and who is cleared to another league,

association or Member Club that same year can only be cleared back to the original Member

Club within that particular year, unless the original Member Club agrees to such clearance.

At this point i couldnt see BL clearning Bellman to Smithfield from CU if that was the intention.

I think someone was thinking that but Central United said they would not do it(rule or no rule). His best mate is Ricky Stansbourgh isin't and he is playing out at Central United.

Pretty stupid for Bellman to go to a new club and sign a two year deal straight up ... only got himself to blame really. The Lodge got every right not to let him go to another club that they are going to play against cause the bloke can surely play the game

Central United are not in the same grade but Smithfield are.It doesn't matter because Central United and Brahma Lodge had a meeting tonight and the Lodge will not clear him any where. They are going to make him play at the lodge even if doesn't want to be there.i think he has to stand out or play with the lodge!
