Whoever it is, congratulations. 300 games is an awesome effort. :ymapplause:
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Desperate times call for desperate measures at GG? The guy must be around 40, but you don't play at SANFL league level if you couldn't play

I wouldnt or wont say desperate, but pretty sure this week in particular we need someone to kick some goals. The usuall FF is unavailable/injurred and Marshy has put his hand up to see if he can help out. Age aside having the big guy down at FF straightens as side up and gives you a target, when he gets it in his hands they generally go through the middle.

I apologise to Pooraka people as i didn't rate them early in the year.
I have a different opinion of them now as they have proven me wrong in a very tight Div3 comp.
Pooraka will be a very hard team to beat especially at home, to beat Portland yesterday should give them plenty of confidence for the remainder of the year.
SMOSH's injuries caught up to them yesterday in a scrappy game at home, they really missed Rae up forward who straightens them up big time but full credit to Flinders Park who remain clear on top of the ladder.
Why didn't Flinders Pk wear white shorts yesterday?

I agree NM, Pooraka were very impressive yesterday and i think our blokes didnt pay them the respect the deserved. It bit us on the @rse. The Bulls have definately lifted their game over the last couple of years - the last time we played them, they looked like they were on a steady decline. Coghill killed us yesterday, but kicking it to him every time we went forward didnt help our cause. Bird and Laslett awesome once again, especially Birdy as he pretty much had 18 Pooraka guys trying to smash him at every opportunity - it didnt have much effect on him.

I reckon yesterday's loss might be the kick up the bum we need - from a spectators point of view, i dont think we have been going as well as some might think. We have got out of jail a few times this year with 10-15 minute bursts of great footy, which you cant keep doing.

Pooraka are a good side - and you're spot on NM - bloody tough to beat at home. Its tightening up from 2-5! Did i hear correctly that Prior got red-carded yesterday? Good to see Tommy Derham amongst the goals for Pooraka - good lad, and a quality footballer for a 17 year old!

We got beat by a pretty impressive flinders side - Ohara had a great game and dictated the clearances. They're pretty well drilled, and very disciplined. Being down to 19 players by quarter time didn't help too much. Bit of a reality check for us in the last couple of weeks goin g into the long weekend.

Pooraka are a good side used the football much better by hand and foot than we did on the weekend. Coghill was the stand out for Pooraka was dominant at CHB all day and was very surprised to see was only 4th best by the sunday mail. we will see what happens with the prior incident during the week

For SANFL umpires ive seen academy umpires do a better job. Even when that Bearded bloke in the magoo's who was making a shocking attempt at umpirinmg had better patches. One thing your told as a player even an ump is to worry about the game have some control and take no notice of your surrounds even if they are supporters. Was he dead set by calling the B grade game off "If tha Pwortland swuppworters dont be qwuiet im gonna call the gwame off. Ive had enough wisten to what i say". Seriously.

Not surprised about Coghill playing well in D3, was very good in D4 in the last couple of years, reads the play very well !

I'm pretty sure they they have booked both players for wrestling and a week if they take the plea, I thought it was cracker of a game the 1st quarter was the best footy i've seen in this comp all year, fast, accurate and exciting, as the game slowed down it became more of an arm wrestle. All of that was again ruined my that Albino umpire and his no so inept but still dismal mate. They were terrible, inconsistent and irratic, i'm pretty sure neither of the teams knew what the whistle was going off about most of the time.
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

you might be right about the wrestling part, surely wrestling isnt worth a match suspension.
was a good game of footy pretty free flowing not a lot of stopages which probably suited Pooraka, your right about that specific umpire, myself and my opponent were amazed at some of the decissions pulled both ways, it ruins a good game of footy when there like that
