Ruckman, won a div medal back in the early-mid 90's?

Yes

Cheers mate, played against him way back when, always a great contest with him and he was a good bloke, unbelievable to think he's still going around.

Sounds like the new coach for IF will be announced tomorrow. Hope he has a team to coach on the weekend.

I realised the forum is not the place for my thoughts and posts relating to the club and the incident Saturday night.

Or you realised you were wrong and that you don't know anything about the old guard, only what the people running the club now want you to beleive.

No mate, i only ever write what i BELIEVE, and im telling you the reason i gave for removing my posts is 100% true. Believe what you like, this discussion is over.

Ingle Farm took some big steps forward tonight, steps that wouldnt have been easy and are tough but decisions that are in the best interest in the club hopefully restore some respect and order around the place.

Its good to see the committee taking a stand and stamping some authority and gaining back control and ascendency.

Ingle Farm i believe are hoping to announce the new A grade coach Thursday night.

Mixture of left of his own accord and politely asked to resign i believe. I think it was a mutual agreement between both parties that their relationship had run its due course.

Very diplomatic of you PG...... the club is at rock bottom and only has one way to go from here, so it's a turning point which cannot be a bad thing. Short term pain......

I reckon if any players were thinking about leaving now it would be a low act of treachery against the club in its time of need, wouldn't you agree PG?

I heard the meeting went as well as can be expected. Its about time scott had some backing.Good to see a REAL committee running the club and not the players.
Its a shame this came to a head the way it did,but they need to move on,learn from this and become even more stronger and competative.
I see that the Junior President and Junior Co-ordinator have also put their hands up to assist where ever possible. As I am involved through my sons in the juniors, this can only be seen as a bonus to the senior ranks with these 2 fine guys on board and great from a junior perspective to see that pete and tas have got the whole club at heart. They have done a great job with the kids here and our kids need something to aspire to.
A couple of sayings come to mind...
short term pain for long term gain.
out of the bad does come some good.
Time will tell, but after speaking with a few players tonight after the meeting, they are upbeat and determined!!

very important PG that the committee does take control of this place and not let boys be boys. there needs to be respect for the club and each other. who ever takes the job has a huge task ahead, he most be willing to lay the law down and do it his way .
