Cheers Fuzz it's always good to get a win and the boys christened the new clubrooms beautifully saturday night :D

I totally agree with you mate, we're a long way off premiership contenders yet...boys are still learning how i operate and what i expect from them and the new faces are still gelling in the group.

Quichey was right about the crabs, they lack a couple quality forwards to finish off their work and their coach is an angry little ant :)

Couldnt agree with you more Fuzz. Bradman are you sure you weren't watching a different 'pre season' game and got the teams mixed up?
Or maybe you just hate the club and new coach? :(

5 tips from The_ Warrior and 5 wins.

Scrappy win for the Saints at Mawson Lakes Saturday. The Riddler would be happy to get a W on the board, but still plenty of work for him to make St.Pauls OS 'Premiership Contenders'.

I thought since it had become pretty quiet in this forum I would post my tips for the upcoming round.

Athelstone Vs. Adel Uni
Athelstone to win by a big margin in this one 51+

Flinders Uni Vs. Sacred Heart
Sacred Heart by 21-31 points

Henley Vs. Houghton
Henley by 1 - 10 but I wouldnt be suprised if Houghton came away with the chocolates

Angle Vale Vs. St. Pauls
St. Pauls by 21-30 points

North Pines Vs. Ovingham
North Pines by 1-10 in what will be a very close well contested game. Although North Pines will have to keep an eye out for some of their gun players in Cookie, Micky O, Roger Jurina and Matty Newman and also benjamin button himself Shane Rigney who seems to get better with age. Also big Spence in their forward line will be a hard one to stop if the ball gets delivered properly to him.

nothing exceptional but a few handy players. 13 in the middle the best for them, very smart. their young ruckman goes pretty well too and i rate their FF, 22 he wore. but he can't kick them from in front, put him in the pockets he'll kick them everytime...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Clint is our runner this year and it's great to have him out on the track with us even though he has a cast on his arm and is a massive smart-arse.

hahaha Thanks Keetch. Always good to get some positive feedback! ;)

Im a little surprised most people seem to beleive that Ovies will beat us this week. Majority of people tipped us to be beaten by 60+ pts and we only lost by 5 goals. We went into the last down by 3 goals and had the ball in our foward 50 for the first 10 minutes but could only manage 3 pts (1 kick was stopped by one of our own players on the goal line with his big head) If we could have converted a goal out of it I beleive that we would have had them beat. But instead they went down and kicked a goal and the rest is history. This week will be a good game but in saying that I will be very disappointed if we dont come away with the points.

P.S. Im with you Carey I hope Henley fall flat on there faces and they are not as good as people expect very beatable as long as you make the most of your forward entries.

I'm going by the way that Angle Vale spanked you guys and only just got over the line against Ovingham. I didn't think that Angle Vale looked that strong on paper, it's going to be a tough game for both sides this week, there will be a lot of feeling out there.
