Assos medal winner predictions?

- Don't know about improvement but Salisbury West impressive.
- Definitely CBC Dropping Down and playing the last years Division 4 grand finalist in trial matches I thought they'd be right up there.
- Greenies to drop and Pulteney to join them unless something happens.
- GG Ruck man to go well at Medal count.

underachievers- CBCOC (coming down from Div 3,would be shattered where they are at the moment)

Finally to Greenacres, in dissaray and sacking a coach that was having to spend more time sorting out the club, before he even got the chance to improve a group that he inherited, after all the fly by nighters had packed up and moved onto to $$$$$$ pastures.
The dragons wonder why quality coaches don't apply for their job, perhaps the people running the club need to look at their role first, and get that right.
Yes before anyone jumps down my throat I am a Shane Gepp fan and believe he had plenty to offer Greenies

End of rant

I'd suggest there is a lot that you don't know about what has been going on at Greenacres this year TT....

Considering the amount of talk about Salisbury West's outs early in the season, they have been very consistent since RD1... Might chuck Pooraka in there for a team people have under estimated. Have had some decent results that i didnt expect..

I thought Hectorville were going to be a real contender this season getting Wooton back but have had mixed results.

T.Aloisi to win the goal kicking (prob a biase prediction but man he is a freak), kicked 3.7 on the weekend and could of easily had another 8 if he kicked straight. He doesn't often have weeks where he kicks more points than goals.

I'll go with T.Dunkley for the medal, played very well against us in the middle and has kicked a few goals of late. Umpires love goal kicking midfielders.

choccies I agree there are 2 sides to each story, and you maybe closer than I think, however their recent history shows that the club is in turmoil which was my original statement. How did you rate the Valleys Saturday.missed the game, was looking forward to seeing it but was holidaying in Cairns

Yep fair enough. I don't think anyone would disagree that they need some stability.
They looked OK to me actually. Had some decent young players and enough size but the weather Saturday made it pretty hard to rate a side. It was pretty much a slog.

Yeah training is 2 nights a week and the numbers vary like any football club. Training is actually made up of mostly A graders and it tends to be the B graders who don't come out regularly.

The issue I have is that the people in charge at Greenacres have been nothing but welcoming to me and I don't believe them releasing large amounts of money to attract players would solve any issues. Those players that left because of money last year or the year before would have left anyway, as offers from country clubs or higher divisions come in. I don't see anything wrong with trying to build an A grade side that isn't reliant on player payments and rather rely loyal club guys like the leadership group who could all be earning money elsewhere but choose not too.

I truly believe that over the course of a couple of seasons, a group of less talented mates can form a better team than one that has just been put together of high paid stars.

short term pain, for what is hopefully long term gain....

Robb... 2 questions
1 How much money do you think should be spent on players in Div4 over the season.

2 How much money does Greenies spend on players over the season.
