Haven will do well. Some great quality in their A grade. As they say at havens, when u cross the bridge u better come ready to play(or somethin like that lol)

Duncs it's 'If They Cross the Bridge, They Pay the Price'. It used to be written on the board in the changerooms for a while.

Which B grade sides were the ones to beat last year in Div 5? Obviously it all depends on the A grade and squad depth, but I would be thinking that Plympton's B's would go ok, also assuming Adelaide Lutheran's B's will be more than handy.

I know im a very otimistic guy. But it astounds me that any clubman worth his salt can before the season even starts write his club off to finish 7th!!!! Imagine having a coach that before the season starts says to his players. "Look boys were gonna finish about 7th this year, so lets go hard and fight to the end and we might get lucky and get 6th!!".... he wouldnt last the season!

Theres a difference between being realistic and having faith and confidence enough in your sides abilities to at least make finals! if u dont have that faith then whats the point???

End rant....

Duncs, you did this to me last time! Note the first letter of each club after the word "then" and see if you can keep up.
I had us finishing 5th in my ladder, then I changed it to say that from 4th to 10th is anybody's guess and will be very close.
If we finish 5th, we play finals where anyrhing can happen. Do I need to type slower..?.

HV were Div6R undefeated premiers in 2008, finished minor premiers in 5R in 2009 but went out in straight sets. Will be around the mark again this year. Plympton's B grade will be the team to beat, no question. Back to back 5R premiers and benefiting each year the A grade loses prelims!

Plympton always good. Elizabeth have always had a strong B grade, bolstered in 2010 by at least 10 guys dropping straight into A grade dropping 10 down which will make us very strong. So i think Plympton, Lutheran and Elizabeth 1-2-3 in no particular order

I reckon Adel Luth's B grade only won 2 games last year so will need some big improvement to finish top 3. I reckon one of there blokes won the 4R Medal, not a bad effort after only winning a couple of games!!

So with this prediction and Hope Valley being minor premiers last year and not making your list the rest of us are playing for 5th spot?? I think this year that the reserves will almost be as closely contested as the A grade. Injuries will play a big part and through the season a few teams will fall away but I think there wont be much seperating the top 6-7 teams. Makes for a great Div 5 5R comp.

should be good to go i know we are preparing for 3 games as i have been drafted to be the "c" ump for the day

Yeah depending on how many are available, still a few cricketers involved this weekends finals.
Ill be out for a run in Cs, Been 4 weeks since i had appendix so hopin i dont do too much damage  Think ill sit quietly in the forward pocket and hope our ump look after me ;) hehe

Nice work. We have 20 odd in each of the 3 grades so looking forward to a good hitout. Still a few playing cricket and working also but managed to get few out there for a run.

I'll look for you in the FP sitting back in your deck chair when I get there and run you out a beverage ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Same situation as us, players new to club dropping in A grade pushing fringe players to B grade. They will be around the mark imo
