would be fair to say it wasnt a first choice 21(you hardly ever get that anyway unless its finals time :) ) but it would also take away from LFC who came to play and controlled the game all day..CLG were 13 points down after 10 minutes in the last but that was because of lockleys bad kicking for goal..i would rate them ahead of trinity by around the mark they beat them by in round 2..was told lockleys had 7 players back in from the week before so thats quite a lot..they are a pretty good unit..

Just heard from a reliable source (witness) that the A grade coach at Ingle Farm was throwing his fists around last night and has quit . Can anyone confirm this.

PG, don't go blaming the old farmers of the world for all your troubles today. In my day we were tight, loyal and a very closeknit club. There was very little trouble within the club. Nowdays there is crap happening on a regular basis. Stop blaming the past and look at what is happening now before it's too late. You would do well to get my old teammates down amongst these kids to instill a bit of " old school " bulldog spirit and heart into them. 400 game legend at the club for first time in 18 months sat. Why isn't he and all the other past legends hanging around the club for these kids to look up to. If you didn't notice how much his presence lifted the B grade on sat. when he turned up then your blind. When are we going to stop blaming the past and take control of what's happening today..........as for the coach, he lost the plot and got violent over a drunk loudmouth supporter. The only punch he copped was from somebody he started pushing around who was trying to diffuse the situation, then he went and attacked the supporter in the carpark egged on by 2 A graders. Not the example you want from your coach in front of all your young players. As for your player walkout, Mr m was beat up by an A grade player (s). This is all fact from someone who saw the whole thing and couldn't beleive the A grade coach would carry on like that, which only confirms what people from his previous clubs had told me 18 months ago. Would have been easierto stop serving the loudmouth alcohol and ask him to leave.......... Let's retun the club to the day' when people came to the club and didn't want to leave like I did 16 years ago. Do you remember those days PG?

As much as I hated playing Ingle Farm in the day it's very sad to hear of these presumed happenings at the club. And this forum of rumour and hearsay aint the best place to find solutions to a problem like this.

As an outsider, I'm interested to know why the 'old farmers' no longer are around the club in official capacities or purely out pride for their club ?? That's a big concern surely...

Hope it all gets sorted because it's sad to see this type of crap at a club that is there purely for recreation and fun.... :?
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I suppose the farmers had a reputation of a fierce club in your day, some of the antics on and off the field probably werent great back then, but yes it was a tight knit group. Maybe that drunk supporter should grow up as im not sure how much he has done for the club in the past, and yes the coach should never ever put himself in that situation. A great coach once told me its great to hang around and have many a beer with the boys but once the awards are over dont go talkn footy to him. The young people of the club need to pull there heads in and yes they do lack some guidance, if they played with as much passion as they show on a sat nite they would be better off.

I agree that past is the past Ingle Farm have to move fwd and build a bridge that the past players can cross. I believe the footy club is at the crossroads for starters the commitee is run by 2 people, how can that function well it cant.

All clubs deal with incidents on and off the field, that is part of running a footy club, but deal with it and move on, don't dwell on the past. I'm sure Scott and Chris and the rest of the committee will sort it out today and play footy on saturday.

The drunk supporter and his family have been members of IFFC for over 20 years that i know of and could be a lot longer. He was even out on the track last week helping out. Can be a bit mouthy after a couple but overall harmless.

A footy club should be proud of it's history, good and bad. That is your clubs story, let it be told, your never going to change it. People run clubs and think they own it, it's everybody's club and they have a right to stay part of that club. How about a past players day and bring the farmers back together, old and new, and make our club great again.
