Not sure who you are insinuating Esteban, but I can assure you that The_Warrior only writes for safooty and the MLFC website. I've seen some of my work 'Cut and Pasted' in the Budget, but I don't own a copyright on my pieces of dribble.

Im sure Esteban can enquire about having a new career writing for the budget if he isnt happy with what has been writen, I believe the editors number is in the budget every week.

I've heard Carroll is going to shout his mates at Hungry Jack's if he kicks his 100th tommorow.

He's got Fat Chance of doing that agains the mighty Central United Juggernaut.

I'm told ML won by 5 goals, not the percentage booster they were after.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

You certainly don't like those Mozzies Esteban. Apparently they couldn't catch SHOC by percentage so today's margains were irrelevant. However the Units win over SHOC was, and now there will be an elimination Final next week. SHOC v ML. Winner in the 5. Loser 6th.

No Hungry Jack's 'Eat Off' required today. Dunkin Donuts can sponsor his 100th goal next week

Mawson Lakes v Flinders was a ding dong battle. Flinders had their chances early in the last quarter to take the lead, but inaccurate kicking kept the saints in it. Thankfully the saints finished off strongly to set up an early elimination final against SHOC. I know some people have suggested that SHOC'S gun Caroll would stock up on hamburgers this week but I can assure you that the Saints full back went straight to Pooraka Macca's to stock up in an attempt to stop the steam train. Should be a great game next week. Hopefully the riddler can weave some magic to see an undermanned Saints sneak into the finals.

4/5 Least it wasn't my team letting me down this week

The Mawson Lakes Saints hosted the Flinders Uni Crabs on a windswept Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval yesterday. The Saints season hang in the balance of results they couldn't control due to a form slump while some punters had given the Crabs hope of poaching their first win for 2010. Michael Miller who retired from 'A' grade footy a couple of years ago for the Saints was a notable starter.

Tradition continued when Saints Skipper Lachlan Kennett told his chargers they were kicking against the strong breeze in the first term. Players suggested he go back and ask for a best out of 3, or play 'Paper,Scissors,Rock' to decide the outcome of who kicks which way. However the Crabs got first use of the wind, but it was the Saints who dominated and with goals to Travis Smits and evergreen Steven Elmendorp, the home side had a good lead at the break. With the advantage in the 2nd, the Saints clicked up a gear and with onballers Derek O'Gorman and Lachlan Kennett teaming with Ruckman Glen Mackie they set up a comfortable lead at half time. People at the ground could have been excused for thinking it would be the Saints game, but the Crabs had different ideas in the 3rd term. For the Crabs Casey Stoetzer was finding a bit of the pill while veteran Anthony Dodd was providing a target at CHF. When Trevor Brokensha goaled from outside 50 the Crabs pulled off a 2 goal play when the umpire penalised Myles Cooper for punching the goal post in frustration. The man in orange had all at the ground dumbfounded when he awarded the free kick from the goal square when clearly the indiscretion occurred after the ball had gone through for a goal. Either way through the combination of some confusing decisions and a lift from the Crabs pulled the margain back to 2 goals at the final break. With scent of victory not experienced for a long time, Crabs Coach Ross Brokensha pleaded for one big final effort and when they kicked the first of the final term, an upset was surely in his thoughts. However with the strong breeze at their backs, Michael Draper and Greg Kels held sway for the Saints defence and the home side ran away with a comfortable win. Smits and Elmendorp finished with 4 goals a piece in a performance that wouldn't have worried the top 5 sides. Luck was on the Saints side away from their oval too, when word filtered back that Central United had done Mawson Lakes a big favour by defeating SHOC. With both SHOC and Mawson Lakes locked on the same number of wins, next week's fixture between the sides becomes a 'Mini' Final where the victor will progress to the Finals.
