They wanted to do it last year but couldn't get the off field help I reckon.

and I also think Z may have already mentioned this
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

wouldnt think so morell..we also lost to MLFC by over 10 goals in round 1 dont forget..this week is all i am worried about with our talent depth to be tested..7 out in the A grade and 10 changes in the B grade..

FC is correct wilkins..numbers look fine but need the off field roles filled although that is possibly settled now..

In my experience Z, just nominate the side and hope you can find enough help later. That's how we've been doing it for the past 3 years. Need a goal or boundary ump- just use a player off the bench. The hardest is getting trainers but claubs have that problem at A grade level, let alone C grade.

fair point giffo, we couldn't even get a coach to nominate at that stage though, but since the season has started people have put their hands up for roles in the future if it eventuates..good luck tomorrow mate..

Yeah with no Harvey, Critchen and Co. I believe there were 5 new players against us in round 3 that you didn't have in round 1 and that's not including Emmet Wood!

Deflect the attention all you like Z your flag fav's mate

In your experience giffo??? I think there would have been quit a bit more work done in the background to get your C grade off the ground than just nominating a side and hoping to find the help later. How did your committee come to the decision to nominate for a third side?

If I remember correctly the LFC Committee made a decision after CityCoaster17 (and a couple of others) met with them and told them you would drive it and make it happen....which you did.
Yes Giffo....sometimes you just have to "build it and they will come" but it does take someone to commit to the decision and that was CC17.

Great to hear you've survived your tour of Nam CC17!
PS You owe me a Bourbon! Let me know when and we can go to Rutland just for ol'times sake. 8)

What's going on down at Central United? Why do they consistently start every season so slow?

That's relative.

You don't know if they have started slow until you see their finish.

I dont think Jake is from Central United mate but Johnny i wish i knew the answer to why we start the seasons off so slow. We were in front for 99% of the day apart from the part that counts and to Lockleys credit they were in front when it counted and took the 2 points.

Were just hoping that we dont leave our run to late as we did last year, I think from memory we won 9 of our last 10 or 11 games including beating the Top 5 on the ladder in the last 7 games football is a funny game at times as our the players that play.

We played Rosewater in round 1 lost by about 40-50 points (Rosies are top 5 and 0 winning with ease) we then beat Mawsons @ Mawsons in round 2 which is never easy, Lost to CLG in round 3 by 50odd points (Who are smashing teams 3 wins over 100 points in there other 3 wins) we then had the Bye and went down to Lockleys by 7 points after leading most of the day. So its not all doom and Gloom get some personnel back and hopfully turn things around before its to late.

Fired up zedman?

I am looking forward to standing on the mark (or the sidelines) and heckling your forwards with calls of excessive player payments, stepped on champagne glasses, finals failures and underhanded poaching tactics.
