Fanatastic game of footy in the 1s today, never seperated by more than 2 goals. Each team gave it a massive crack!

The best fwd in the comp was givin' a bath by the best backman in the comp. It was even in the midfield. Jets poor kicking in the midfield was matched by Scotches poor kicking at goals. Those who say college teams are soft, well each team today was far harder than any team we played throughout the season!

Well done to the 2s and 3s, they were challenged, but were always in control!

Jetters is shitfaced, and will be for the next week, but fu!k yeah, we deserve it, it may never happen again, so lets enjoy it!

And pressure, wha pressure!?

You Jets!!!!!

Yes he is referring to Henri Westell and he's not wrong! How many other tall defenders have managed to out mark cahill numerous times in a game this season? At times he's his own worst enemy because he attacks the footy so hard but anyone with his size and athletic ability, who manages to defend and rebound at the level he does should be considered amongst the best defenders in the league. Got better options?

Well done to all the guys, massive achievement for the club and everyone involved. Having said that, there's nothing worse than a bad winner and it would be remiss of me not to point out Scotchies efforts. To lose by a goal in a grand final must be heartbreaking.

It was also a cracking standard of footy! The intensity went up a couple of notches, as would be expected in a grand final and while some of the foot skills were down early, the game really broke open in the second half. The big oval allowed for end to end footy that was great to watch.

Time for another beer!

Yes, 3 flags in 3 grades a phenominal effort these days.

Lets hope they schedule some humility training sessions during pre-season because it was an unfortunate blight in an otherwise oustanding season for Unley Merc's.

Harsh. There are 4 posters on here from Unley.. Hardly represent a footy club.
Jetters loves stirring the pot... Another bloke said the Bs should win easily - which they did.

Some amazing young talent at Unley... Will be a force for a few years if they can keep the 15 or so 18-23yo who played A grade on the weekend.

Has winning all 3 grades happened to often in the SAAFL??

Good to see Footy Chick join in the celebrations with us Sat night ;)
