portland v kilburn game in all honesty was a pretty ordinary one, both sides were having a crack but basic skill errors were the flavour of the day, great oval to play footy on, and fantastic facilities

Only the 1 red card and only 2 in total sent off. Red card was for a push. U would hope he will get off.

Some people should stop trying to hide the facts about how bad they are by continuosly sooking about the umpires. It sounds pathetic

You cretin. The umpiring has not favoured any team this year whether my side is winning or losing, however it has been abysmal at best and not favouring anyone. Just horrendous for all sides.

one yellow each team. both soft and a free would have been sufficiant. the red was a silly "frustrated" hit after the final siren from a cbcoc bloke (imo one of the best blokes in amatuers), will unfortunatly will get games. enough said.

Have a crack at umpiring yourself then marto instead of crying and sitting back criticising. you'd be one of those blokes at a club who does nothing but wants everything and complains when its not up to standard. or maybe try playing without them and see how you go. cretin... pfft...

Looks like free for free has a real chip on the shoulder. How little does he know about me or anyone for that matter. I said and I will type this s...........l............o.............w.................l..................y. The umpiring has been horrendous for every guy in D3 this year no matter what club. So yes, the games would be much better without them and done by any number of people who are half intelligent. Cretin......................yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem is the bloke in charge of the umpires wouldnt know what day of the week it was, as is the case with the ceo. What hope do we have??? Gino needs to come to the rescue. Think Hanno forgot to mention that when that lad missed the goal after the advantage she didnt automatically bring the ball back and give him another kick, she did ask him first if he would like another one, it was up to him. I'm sure we would all like those opportunities to be taken again. Its not a female thing cos I think the female ump we had in round 1 is probably the best ump in the academy ranks.

you get good and bad umpires in all grades, not just Div 3. I play div 1 and i can tell you sometimes we have some shockers. in fact our coach was pulling his hair out with some of the stupid free kicks the ump was pulling on the weekend... at the end of the day the umpires are human. they all make mistakes. take it on the chin and get on with the game

Not marto apparentely....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

How did Scott Galpin go standing Mark Ricciuto on Saturday? By all reports didn't do too bad a job?

cbc played a loose man infront of roo and waltham, but one on one Galps kept him pretty quiet and i think was in cbc's best. we kicked into are forward line very poorly though, so that didnt help any of the forwards.

Similarities are striking. Don't have a lot of time for someone who reacts after the final siren. Shake hands and move on.

Would depend on what the other bloke says to you. May have been other circumstances.

Yeha thats a fair point mate, but if your opponent goes over the top, you should just store it up and wait for the return clash surely? The instigator may have been the bloke who won, but look where its landed the CBCOC lad now. Theres a fine line I guess.

Anyways, enough rubbish from me. Tips this week:

PAOC - Should be too strong, but not a blowout by any means.
SMOSH - Match of the round? Will be hard to curtail some of Iggies big guns, but we take a lot of confidence out of last week. Will have to be at our best to topple them.
SEATON - Bounce back with a strong win.
CBCOC - will be a good game with Mitchams pace testing the dolphinsw in a high scoring game.
PARA HILLS - Kick start their season. Feel like PH have the most improvement in them out of all 10 teams.
