Yeah, that was a bit of bad luck, the coach wasnt too happy with that.. also wondering whether ramblers are going to try and change our round 2 game at seaton, as there is a crows game on that night...if they dont have the car park, no one will get paid  We wouldnt want to swap it for a home game, cos that means we play 4 away games in a row in the 2nd half of the season. that would be carp :x

From last years premiership side we've lost 4 or 5 players to overseas, injury and other committments but the new blokes that have come in and look like they'll fit in just nicely.

I guess the only good thing is the trials at Camden and Round 1 at Payneham at least something changes. Our coach wasn't that happy either.

Interesting to see how both teams approach the trial.

What difference does it make that the sides will play each other 2 week in a row, one is a trial game the other is for real, I dont think it makes that much of a difference, its not like planning goes into a game like it does in the afl. Come on people it doent really matter!!!

Hey i heard SHOC 2's will be pretty strong this year, at training last week the coach made a point about the new recruits, 'If they don't train, they will be playing 2's' Looking forward to round 1, we all know these are some of the coaches most prized empty promises...

Dont worry FC your boys will want to get off the oval as quickly as they can. Ramblers looking the goods for 2007 from what im told. How are the falcons looking this year. Is Scotty Darrington still controlling the backlines.

I never like to anticipate what we're going to look like until we've actually played a game, so I'll let you know next monday!!!

Yes S. Darrington is still galloping around the back lines, much to my disappointment... i was sorta hoping he would retire, oh well, he'll learn the hard way..

What? They didn't run out of food and beverage by 3pm. Did they get shutdown by the liquor licensing inspectors again for awhile like they did last year? They had alot of kids pear-shaped well before the cup was run last year.

Whats the go with the Trial between Paynham Norwood and Mypolonga?? I heard both grades had a fairly comfortable win and showed some good signs, can anyone fill me in on this a little further?

Hi Footy Pie

I posted on the trial games 2007 thread that we trekked up to Mypo and scraped in by 12 goals. I think even Macca was pleasantly surprised as to how well the new guys have fit in to the team. We had James Stagg, Billy Kollias and Nick Jolly missing from the game so still have to find somewhere to fit them in once cricket is finished. Saturdays forward line of Todd Patfull and Ty Watkins just dominated. and then Macca of course, in the pocket.

I think we might go ok this year...
