It isnt used as a pay to enter car park for Power games, hopefully if everything goes to plan it will be a rather quiet day at Pedlar Reserve when Port play Carlton

Did I hear correctly that Wingfield rocked up late to yesterday's final not knowing it was a 12 midday start?

yes you heard correctly. Some of them thought it was a 2.15pm game but one of their players said "I told you on Tuesday that it was a 12pm game"

So what happened did they start with a full team? In a case such as this where does a team stand if they roll up late. Can the game be delayed or if you have less than 14 by game time is it an automatic forfeit? Or is it a case by case scenario depending how accomodating the umpires are?

from reports the umpire said they had until 2.15pm to get a starting team of 18, i would have thought they would have had at least 1 hours from the starting time of 12pm to get the starting 18 on the park or otherwise they would have forfeited.

I got there just after 2 and it was nearly half time. SO guessing it started at 1.15ish?
Chatting to a few on the sidelines not many at all knew it was at 12.

i dont know if anything will or not, the result went Kenilworths way. If Kenilworth had lost, i wonder if you could have put in an investigation about what happened.

Congrats to Mousey & Seaton on making it through to the GF as they were the better side this time round as they had a lead of 2 goals at 3 qtr time then they were able to blow the final margin out to 9 goals, we need to really lift our game to have a shot at them again & this weeks Prelim Final Fitzroy vs Kenilworth will be a ripper as from memory the last 7 x games between these two sides have been decided by less than 2 goals

I'm not suggesting an investigation , or changing anything- it appears someone made a serious error

Indeed Zed.

Better get some decent key backs on these two Punk. Both may look unfit and gamely....trust me, they can really play.

Hart and Osborn at FF for respective sides? Could easily have been a Div 4 A grade GF a few years back and these two capable of massive hauls.
