salisbury vs eastern park expect fire works lol
Growing up, we disliked Eastern Park more than Salisbury West or Salisbury North, all the way from Under 8s to Under 17s. We haven't played each other since 2008 (I think), can't wait to have another crack. Good blokes off the field but.

Times changed. EP were nothing to bother about when I played for Salisbury. Salisbury North biggest rival, Salisbury West next.

And we'd let Elizabeth think they mattered occasionally as well.

Showing your age now mate... ;)

EP always had a really strong junior set-up in the late 90s/early 2000s, I remember playing three GFs agains them as a kid, the age group below mine played four in a row against them I think, this is where our feelings came from.

EP definitely had a strong junior set up and i missed that boat, maybe that's why they were strong :? I came along as an under 17 and played in a losing SF & GF against Hope Valley in consecutive years but got one back this year ;)

Was always a bit of an occasion against Salisbury, like Pag said i think it was built up from the junior days as a fair few of those players would go on to play seniors... There were not many one-sided games from memory either...

2007 we won the flag in Div 4, came up to play Div 3 in 2008 when EP, Kilburn and Flinders Park were the pacesetters.

I've never won a game of footy at Dwight Reserve, my first game there was in 1996.

Agree hated Salisbury, that only increased when we lost multiple junior premierships to a Salisbury side which included Steven Eichner, Ben Catford, Jake Levy, Aaron Camplin and a few other very good footballers whose names escape me.

Not sure how that would work - we spoke to him about coaching in the Barossa and he put the same deal to us but we didn't see how it could work. Good luck to Iggies if the Club thinks it can work around that arrangement.

Don't expect him to do too much. They tell me there are still a couple of players waiting for a phone call from before pre-season last January 2012.
