Ahh the infamous chief, hopefully joined by a Bear from just down the road. The winters can be cold and lonely

Wow, the chief AND a bear!

That would almost make me jump ship ;)

Question: Who is cuddlier? ;)
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Port Magpies have signed J Cibich from SMOSH.
This bloke if keeps his body sound could make a big impact at Port through the midfield with his explosive pace, at the same time the opportunity that presents itself will hurt SMOSH big time.

Are the rumours true Pooraka could be losing a couple of their young guns back to Ingle Farm where they originally came from?

well that is great news. its great the club produces sanfl players. hopefully we can keep producing them and the players return with that extra experience to hand down to other players and coaches. The club will miss James on the field but send him off with our best wishes. The Club is also sad to see the back of 2 club legends to jobs interstate. Big Ed bruiser Williams and Bluey mcdonald will be missed and we wish them all the best
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

I reckon Cibich would have something to say about that, he is fast!

What schimma said. It is a loss to us but great news for him, hope he does well out there, along with Rae at Eagles. They would be 2 of the most dangerous players in the league so they deserve their chance and am sure they will both do well. This will give other blokes an oppotunity to make thier mark in our side.

I didn't think Rae was able to commit to the training required at SANFL level because of work commitments.

Few:

on J Cibich:NM you must have a cracking source, or have signed Cibich yourself. (Horses mouth) Signed with with Magpies after some slight interest with Essendon and the Power! Incredible.

On Rae: He's going well at Eagles last I heard.

On Adams - he's a gun, but not the quickest in the league by any means.

Any mail On Athelstone? Normally have a few $$$ to throw around, but haven't heard much. Hear PNU may be battling as a few players retire/move elsewhere? Lots of hearsay/rumour about that one though!

Cheers.

very slight, but true story. Supposedly they follow the SA and Vic pro running leagues, which Cibich is doing quite well in at the moment off a pretty short mark.

we are 4 weeks into preseason. probably one of the hardest preseason's alot of us have ever done... Gary's working us hard! We will lose a few players here and there for the 2012 season. Our strong B grade, couple of recruits, and a couple of players returning from stints else where should easily manage to cover the loses.

Great Southern League I believe it is. Yes he is a loss but it gives someone else a chance. With the B's playing in the prelim this year we know we have the depth to cover the 3 players we may lose. Players come and go, every club loses a couple of players each year that's life. Look at Portland gone up to div 2 and they lose their captain. Smosh also losing Rae and Cibich. With the expected return of a key mid/fwd and a few other recruits we will be more than competitive.

McLaren Eagles and more than just a loss. An absolute quality footballer, either up forward or running through the midfield in rotations. Would easily play D1 and be very, very good. I would suggest more than one club tried to get his signature, but just missed out, after the odd meeting and many phone calls trying to entice him. :D :D :-q :-q :-q

As I said mate he is a loss.. He is a fantastic footballer and will be missed but the club couldn't match them. We now move on and with the new blokes we have recruited to the club we focus on 2012. The club is excited about how determined the boys are to make amends to a disappointing finish to 2011 and by the condition a few boys have returned to training in 2012 could be an exciting year for Mitcham.
