Iggies - recruited heavily
Modbury - lost 4, will get key players back from injury
Adelaide University - lost the McEntees and Kurzels? can anyone confirm
Athelstone - picked up one or 2, i know a few lads out there arent happy however
Payneham NU
Port District - picked up Gunning (A couple of brothers have walked out, I hear)
Prince Alfred OC
Rostrevor OC

Modbury haven't picked up anyone and are losing players to the dreaded dollar. Buckets Jolly will have his hands full in his 1st year at the helm

Baffling, incorrect and purely made up post B20

As has been stated earlier, 4 have left to Broadies for a year to try something different and money definately isnt a factor and neither is Matt's appointment as coach. These players are still mates with the MFC boys and see them most weekends.

As for Buckets having his hands full, he has conducted the best pre season i have seen at MFC and the squad is the fittest it has ever been. We have had between 35-40 on the track from November till Christmas and had 55 on the track last wednesday. I think you will find we still have a fairly handy squad and are hoping a few lads will return to MFC in the coming weeks and bolster the squad further.

Can somone put me on the right track please, I am confused. Losses to Modbury this year, Vanders - 3 points, Jarman 3 points, Jarman 3 points, Williams 3 points all to Broadview. Plus they lost Mitchell 3 points and Mitchell 3 points both to Broadview in 2010. That is 18 points to Broadview, isn't the limit 15. I am assuming that Broadview will pick up some ex league North players, who will attract 3 or more points. Has Broadies lost their calculator. FS help me out here please.

According to DMitchell he and his brother have played 50+ games for broadies so they are worth 0points. If all these modbury blokes play A grade yeah they are over but I wld thnk only Vanders wld play A's maybe Ryan Jarman

I heard ROCs have picked up Matt Dawes from angaston very good pick up and they are shaping up as the team to beat. Also heard Mashotta and Fraser to stay but not sure about White$

Can anyone from Old Ignatians confirm that Frinsdorf has stepped down as captain of the club? I wonder if this has anything to do with big Calabrese returning this season. Big call for the club to make if they are looking to reinstate him. I know playing against them a few years back that there was no doubt who the outstanding leader was in their side- absolute heart and soul of the club. But I wonder how he will go after a few years off. He'd have to be into his 30s by now.

Spoke to a couple of Iggies boys today JMadden and they were unsure whether Craig had stepped down or not but I know his work commitments have increased over the past 6-12 months which is making it harder for him to commit three times a week. IMO President Zollo & Co would never push Craig out of the job as he has just led the Club to it's first A grade premiership in just under 30 years. Carlo is not due back from o/s until late March/April either. I think a few younger players could be in a position to obtain it not just Carlo.

Clonan played last year with us. Had some time o/s during the season but came back for the last part. He's slotted in quite nicely at the Cattery
