What are they unhappy about...........

Maybe the fact they are looking at recruiting and paying players this year?

Maybe it's time we did, considering the Demons have finnished 5th the last 4 years and underachieved. Don't worry the love/dollars will be shared at home 1st and for only those that are Red and Blue blooded. Our Junior program has produced a number of quality SANFL players over the years and rumour has it a couple maybe coming home.

In recent years, all the potential in the world can not seem to find us a Premiership. We get to the ball but don't go on with it....and clubs that have a couple of "Marquee Players" leap frog us and go on to Div 5 - 4 - 3 and upwards.

We've been competitive in the Home and Away series against all comers - Had great clashes with Blackfriers, Brahma Lodge, Hope Valley, Golden Grove, Elizabeth, Westminster and the list grows on, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

It's nothing new, you need the cattle and if you can get the right people/players that might just put the cream on the cake. That's what Genovese did in the earlly 90's and added to a great list to go on and win Back to Back Premierships and a 3rd GF. Took the club to D3. Time will tell and I look forward to chatting and bantering with you all over 2010. Darth Demon

Thought you guys had a pretty good team in 07, u only needed a ruckman and a quaility forward and u could of done some damage. we were the only team to beat u at home as well i reckon that year.

is leigh cherry still ur captain? he was a great player. is he staying put?

As you know "Watchdog" it takes more than just one player to get it thru the sticks and of course the Demons can't afford to lose anyone.

But the thing I can't fathom with this guy is.........why go around the corner to play against us. I understand a player going to an SANFL club, a Higher Division club, even a country club for big bucks, but when they go down the road to play against you that is just toooooo complex for a simple man, like me to understand. He's got talent and more stories than Walt Disney.

Hopefully the club can replace him, not easy but we have great kids, and some great prospects for 2010.

And yeah, mighty hounds, Cherry is still around and also well loved at Rutland Avenue. 3 more like him 100% fit and we would have got a lot closer to you guys.

The boys have been out there for the last month. just ball skills for now to keep in touch. very exciting at the club at the moment with things looking positive for next year. a few of the midfielders extremed the weather down at semaphore and were running the dreaded snakepit for an hour. dont under estimate the raiders next year like alot of people already have on here. we might surprise ya come round 1 with a few new faces and some faces ya might already know from the past :D

i havnt under estimated the raiders mate but the facts are div 6 is a hell of alot stronger than div 7 and with all due respect you guys didnt excatly set the world on fire in div 7 im not being a smart ass either.

C'mon mate, how many games did you see us play last year? We played some very good footy under Rexy.

The main thing is that no one is going anywhere, which gives us a firm base to add players to. The club on and off the field is in a much better position and far better prepared to take on Div 6 compared to 2007-8.

No one has left Lockleys to go to Henley, a player has left to go elsewhere in Div 6, maybe CLG, a strange move, Darth thinks.

Yes mate he does Kane

As mentioned to Darth he is happy to talk to anyone on reasons why he is choosing to leave. Or is it easier for Darth to hide behind a computer and eat pies
