I admit the overall standard of umpiring in Div 6 hasn't been that great this year, but I can't see the point of coming onto this forum and naming individuals. There is a fair chance you will have him again some time this year, so if he reads this forum....good luck!

...and yes it does sound like sour grapes

Why bag the umpires? What do you get out of it? Feel better?
Show bit of decorum and go about reporting your qualms the appropriate way in private.

End of the day without Umpires the games wouldn't get away, should be gratefull these blokes are willing to invest their time and Sat arvos at the least.

Malbunka kicks 8, over half of IF's score in a draw. On that stat alone Farmers would not have been in the game without the "Big G Train". Even if he was on the end of the line for most of those goals, he still had to kick them. Surely that gets you a mention in the Best 5 Players?

I recon he's kicked 32 goals in 5 games and never made the Best Players. If they're trying to fly him under the radar I recon he's TOOOOO BIG, TOOOOO GOOD AND Round 9 is a bit late for that.

I hope the "G Train" stays on the Park and jags 50+ in the second half of the season. Well done Big Fella!

which is the thing that was bad - the punching, the scuffle or the fact he never went near the interchange gate... :)

Question 1 - Escape? They just let him walk...no communication entered in to. Could not believe that after losing Mickan that efforts were not made to encourage Malbunka to stay at LFC. But communication or the lack of it is a real issue at Lockleys.

Question 2 - I enjoyed coaching Graham, it really isn't that hard...The Man knows how to play. And I know he enjoyed playing under me. I doubt I could or even want to intice him back to Rutland Ave but who's to say I would be coaching there. Dissapointingly after 23 years of continued support on and off the field and based on recent events I will not be going back to Rutland Ave in the forseeable future. My opinions, efforts and sponsorship dollars are clearly not required. I think you know what I mean!

In fact there are quite a few clubs a little closer to home and closer to my heart than the one situated on the Banks of the Torrens. My son is playing in the HFL and I'm enjoying small roles around there, watching my beloved Redlegs and sponsoring both of them. I guess we all move on.

Good luck to G. Malbunka and IF - I hope they appreciate the Big Fella - he is a genuine talent and still a young man capable of kicking many goals for many years to come.

They were good, probably the first '4 quarter game' they've put together in a while. Can only get better if they have a decent run with injuries during the back nine.

As much as CLG were good, we were equally poor. All the things we did well against Trinity OS were missing from the game yesterday. Lacked a willingness to run and work to contests, refused to handball backwards to the free man or to outside runners, and I hardly saw a shepherd all day.

You blokes couldn't get near the footy in the last quarter. Second to the ball and you give away free kicks. I agree umpy's are average but it goes both ways. You blew a 5 goal lead because you thought you had it won and the Farmers finished harder. Simple.

Do you fellas still think Dane Swan and Darren Jolly are off to 'Arizona'..? ;)

Two corker games out at Trinity, their B's jumping away to a half time lead and strong enough to hand our boys their first loss of the year and a neck and neck game all day in the A's falling our way. Could have gone the other way with a point sailing through on the siren. Both games played in good spirits at high pressure, thanks to the TOS boys- hope the lad in his 100th wasn't hurt too bad- tibia/fibula?

Did play 1 A grade game last season kicked 6........ wasn't enough to hold his spot the following week...I couldn't figure that out either. However there are a lot of things I don't understand about the operations at LFC.
