Best start since 2003. Only horse and rumbles still at Eric Sutten. I see stinger is down at Waikerie. Any more of the boys still lacing up the boots?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Cainsey was "running" around for Rosies last year not sure if he is this year though. There is still a few from the losing side that year running around, I know cos' I am one of them.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Did Shayne Mitchell end up going to Rosewater? I thought I saw his name on the clearance site.

Very solid win by WOS yesterday. I thought the scoreboard probably didn't their control of the game. Very hard midfield that worked at it longer than our guys, a group of forwards that kept the ball in their area to keep pressure on our defenders and a disciplined defence. very even team performance. Their leading goal kicker woods created havoc every time the ball came down and was possibly fortuante to have 6 majors recorded rather than 5 according to a couple of our guys after one his shots in the last quarter.

Having said that our guys only played 30 minutes of decent footy across the day, the last 15 minutes of both the first and third quarters. Not quite playing well enough as a team for long enough at the minute so will need to get back to some basics for the away game against Rosewater after the bye. Still think they are good enough to be in the mix at the end of the year.

Really pleased with the way our B grade has improved this year. Felt they gave Saturdays game away after fighting back from a 4 goal deficit at quarter time to be even at three quarter time and then seemed to stall a bit in the last.

your ground was in good condition sprint..wosfc have got some height in their group..they play rosies at glandore this week so a solid indicator coming of how good each team is..uni had a pretty good result after their rd 3 loss and we will have to be on our guard against them this week..lockleys and units will be tight and parks versus lakers will be a real tough battle as well..

What is going on there? Would have thought Mawson Lakes would be a very attractive place to play footy...new side, on the up, premiership chance, etc...

Bit odd.

Does Steve Garner's suspension put him into life-ban territory?

Yes he's close just as Brad Woodward is. Both do some of the dumbest stuff you'll see on a footy field and both won't be playing in the SAAFL for too much longer

What have those 2 ever done in footy apart from getting games at the tribunal? Feel sorry for their coach as they do so much stuff that isn't team orientated. No wonder they've never played in a premiership

Any club whose priority is looking after the interests of its players who prefer to "play" the game of football, rather than deal with individuals who have a proclivity towards "thuggery" to impress everyone.......it becomes very much their worry. If a club does not like the outside attention .....do something about it.....

I see that Shaun Jacobsen kicked a lazy 6 on thursday.
Lucky for Rosies that they finally put him up forward as last time I seen him he said he was being chased by North Adelaide and was gonna go if wasnt played up forward. Horse obviously came to his senses.
Does anyone think he was actually going to leave or was it a hollow threat?

The family have strong ties at Rosewater.....and it looks as if it could be the year watershed season for he 'Bulldogs'. If there was a serious offer from NA it would be hard to fathom why he wouldn't have a go albeit Div 6 to the SANFL.... IMO if he has the talent and commitment I think he would have Charlie's J. and Rosie's blessing..... Besides, I'm not so sure Horse responds to hollow threats.....but stand to be corrected on that point.

IF you might be able to answer this.. Spoke to a few of the rosie boys on Sunday who said they went away for the weekend with a former Portland key forward and current committee member who showed a strong interest in heading to the kennel in a possible playing/administration role. Care to shed any light on who this might be?
