Still would be very handy although i cant see him lasting to long.....

He has only come out to play with his mate Damian Graham. Damian is only interested in playing B grade at the moment so thats where Troy will play. Neither have played much footy recently so we are happy to accomadate them to have a run in our B grade. Damian has been training the last 4-5 weeks for fitness and was never interested in playing but this week he has the itch to play.

Nth Pines with clearance and quality players running around in the B grade are gunna have gr8 depth towards end of the year.
Damian Graham i played with him at South Gawler and Troy bond is a quality pick up and top bloke aswell seen him at the Village Tavern after TTG win and he said back then has crossed his mind to have a run at Nth Pines with mates and Family.

Nice set of smoke and mirrors Bigshow82. Callington havn't won a game for 3 years and some by over 50 goals, your team sheet suggests one change from you belting of Angle Vale last week. You will be in the 5 tomorrow night with another nice percentage booster against a slowing Shoc. Make no mistake, you and Gullies are the "in" teams at the minute. We know you are both coming. What about Gullies having the luxury of resting big Chambo for their clash against Modbury, mind you they have a quality side without him with all the guns back and I would suggest Haynsy wants that goalkicking trophy at season end. Good luck tomorrow to all teams in what may be trying conditions and sorry Reds, but it would be good for the comp if Smithfield get a win for all the hard work they are putting in. Play hard but fair boys.

What the hell are you smokin' marbles? :weedman: That means Smithfield will be 2nd, TTG will be 9th, Shoc will be 3rd, Angle Vale will be 8th, Flinders Pk will be 4th, Henley will be 8th and guess what? Nth pines make the five. Man send some of that stuff to me. =))

Smoke and mirrors? Not sure what you are alluding to? We have only made the one change to last weeks side, Derek Newchurch out with a strained knee but we regain Scott Webber. Not sure if you are trying to say come tomorrow we will spring more changes? As for suggesting tomorrow will be a percentage booster, if any one in our team rocks up tomorrow thinking like that we could very well find our percentage going the other way. Last week means nothing come tomorrow and we need to rock up ready to play to get the points.

Bigshow82, the smoke and mirrors refer to Bondy and the Cally boys. Read my post champ not smoke and mirrors from you, but the perception from the posters. I know where you are at, that's the most important thing. And yes as coaches we don't want our boys to just turn up, but the college boys don't like it wet and cold so it would be good if you just soften them up a bit for us next week. Get the jist.

By the way, Super Cally just atrocious actually won a game last year - it beat Sedan. It's not much but it's better than not winning a game for three years ;)

SAAFL Division 7 & D7R (2012)

Are SHOC struggling for numbers in their D grade? Just had a look at the sides and they have not entered any players yet for their C grade but have only named 13 in their D grade. Did someone just run out of time when entering teams or are they struggling to fill the side?

To be honest its the first time I have payed much attention to the team sheets. I was more curious because it's our home game and wasn't sure if that's why they may struggle for numbers. I expect 2 full teams from shoc and 2 competitive games. Should be a cracking day at nth pines as we play our annual testimonial match for Pops Devries who passed away 3 years ago. A great club man who meant a lot to a lot of people around the club.

Poor choice of words gutterboy, but he was undisciplined yes, and paid the ultimate penalty by spending 2 quarters on the pine. The game itself was spiteful at times and not played in the spirit of what both coaches are trying to achieve. That said, to both teams credit they spent an hour or so in the bar afterwards becoming a lot more respectful of each other and building some friendships. Thanks to the Vale lads for that, stay focused and it will come together.

"sniped" a sniper is somone who hits someone who is not looking and not aware it's coming, retaliation is face to face after receiving the 1st one, he retaliated as most 18 year old kids do.
