It's bad coaching. Trials as far as I'm concerned are to learn from and perform well in. Maybe Mawson just have to play a few years in Div 6 and they'll no doubt improve. Wont matter anyway coz woody sth were unlucky to go down and will pump all.

Top 2 yes agree Snake.
Brahma Coach thinks Ingle Farm will be top 5 after the trial against them. CLG have good trial form and UNI were very good in there hit out but i understand that some one has to be in the bottom half of betting.
Very hard divison to pick thats for sure probably just the top 2 are certainties

As far as i'm concerned, it's Div 6 - every club has the same goals - win games, play finals and hopefully win the flag and ultimately get promoted out of the division.
To blokes like Riddler and Carey, what do you hope to accomplish by talking down your sides or pushing the hype on the other? Is it incase you don't live up to the expectation? Is it to avoid "extra pressure"?
At the end of the day, if you under perform and struggle - no matter how well you fly under the radar - you and your side will get scrutinised.
I just wish for once someone would come out and say "Yep the rumours are true, we've recruited heavily and had a strong pre-season, feeling very confident, good feeling around the club - we'll settle for no less than a grand final"..

Hate that frigging comment about every trial.
Obviously Lakes depth is a little depleted, but thats okay! Why do they have their "guns" outs so close to the season? surely you'd wanna see the best 21 have a run.
Mitchell Park .... well done lads, a win is a win is a win.
Woody Sth would not be getting to ahead of themselves because with the mass exedus from Para Hills an U/16 would have given em a run for their money!
Trinity are a good young side who play a competitive style of footy, but were beaten by a side who played finals in a Div above no matter who trinity had missing.
I think when ya loose a trial that last thing you should say is "yeah but we had a few out" that excuse for me is garbage.
You take it as good learning and maybe an ego and reality check.

Not sure there depth is that big of an issue for Mawson Lakes down at riddle reserve anyone who can kick 11 in a last 1/4 as they did yesterday cant complain to much with the 10 to come back in.

Niggles or not I think it's really important to get ya best squad on the park to view how things gel. Certainly different kettle of fish from 1 trial to the next with our boys. However our coach is all about trialling everything as close to match conditions A's possible. Even pre game routines were focussed on, which I think have benefitted us greatly

Get over it, it's a trial! Real stuff starts in 2 weeks, nobody cares about results in trials or if you beat a team by 10 goals or1 point!!! It means nothing come round 1!

Exactly! Here's the fixture for Round 1
Houghton Districts vs Colonel Light Gardens
Lockleys vs Woodville South
Mawson Lakes vs Central United
Ingle Farm vs Adelaide University
Trinity OS vs Blackfriars OS - This game should be a cracker!

No need to apologise mate that's your opinion. If our best 21 was available pretty sure we would have played them but reality was they weren't (for various reasons) so went into the game with different objectives. Question for you Hoodlum If players are carrying a slight niggle & they're in your best 21 why risk them injuring themselves more in a trial? Wouldn't u rest them up in readiness for round 1?
