Worst loss I've been involved in at the club for a few years, I think the 10 minutes of silence we had in the rooms after the game probably said more than anyone's words could.
I'm sure for the spectator it would've been a top game to watch. I thought when we got out to 19 points in the last quarter we almost had it, and we had a couple of missed chances which could've iced it (as did you guys, Broadbent hitting the post was a let-off). Great effort by your boys to kick the next four it looked over there, then I thought it was another top effort from our lads to kick another two against a very strong tide to get back in front. I didn't think Howson was all that good during the game but the third-man up hitout at the winning stoppage proved the difference.
I couldn't believe it, still can't really. Full credit to Heccies, we knew it was going to be a challeneg to win down at Daly. Hopefully next time the result is reversed.
