Someone told me Smithfields Lights were good, I would probably strongly disagree with that, i think someone earlier said they cost 20 G to fix up which is way too much of an expense for a Div 5 club, I know Haven couldn't afford that.

The game was played in a good spirit and was handy for loosening up the legs but not much else. Without our coach there wasn't much to be gained with team structure etc

Smithfield looked OK I assume they have a few more to come in and based them on last year I would have them in the 6th 7th 8th categroy in Div 4 so I guess they would be 3rd 4th 5th in Div 5.

Haven are still an extremely young team so we will see how we go and probably just try to keep improving.

Neither can we atm, that's why they aren't fixed yet.

Yeah Jake and Keith were prob 2 best on ground. Good game and great day for a game of footy in March. Where did u watch the game from, should have come said hello

Watched the game today between EFC and an undermaned TOS , and am looking forward to the ANZAC day game between the Lodge and Eagles and the match up of Makris and Coombs , should be a great day.

Spoke to a few Trinity lads last night... they said they only had one player out... could be a long year for the boys.

I stated on a previous post that TOS were undermaned , spoke with their coach before the game yesterday and playing against them last year i know that Warner,Zorich (the good one),Geurin,Thatchen were not playing so thats 4 of their top 5 or 6 missing that i know of. As Texas said could be a long year for Keith and the TOS, i hope not a good bloke and a good bunch out there.

There's a 'preview' button they can hit before submitting a post. For every
there must also be one
and vice versa.

Thanks for that, did he play "a" grade all year?He stood out today but i can not remember him last year.Who where 3 on ballers that didn't play, switala, millwood.Did herzick play today? Also 27 in the 'B' goes allright!

Ul have to excuse me all the new names at club im still confused as to whos who still lol.
I goal umpired the A grade so didnt get familar with the names like i was doing when running water for the Bs. Im tryin to think who wore #27 in Bs. Numbers were all over the place today, i think this week nominations for numbers is open i heard.

Oh and have to give a special mention to Nugget Ellis who returned from a trip to Sierra Leone and then through Europe, returning thursday then coming out and playing 5-6 quarters all day including the last half of the Bs where he came on and completely turned game around. as i said we hadnt kicked a goal til 3rd quarter, then from his drive out of middle and around half forward got us over the line.

But lastly. The biggest shock of the day! Goto the canteen and they only had Balfours pies!!! Sad sad day :(

That was always a highlight of going to Argana Park, I'm devo now.

Fatchen won't be around either. He's in the NT.

Duncs, how did young Patrick Clancy go? New boy from Ramco...

Very sad to hear that only Balfours pies/pasties are on offer. Gawler South bakery rocks!

But ya gotta take players on face value, give them a chance and then rate them. No point judging someone on their past clubs experience.
