It's at Fitzroy, not sure what time it starts though, I'll probably get there around 7.30ish unless someone says the A grade starts earlier..

Very good hitout for us in our internal trial last night I thought, it was great to finally be back and going at a match intensity after 4 months of preseason training. Very much looking forward to playing Plympton next Saturday now, can't wait.

Most annoying thing about last night is the number of guys coming out of the frickin woodwork and rocking up for a game, we've only been training since November.

Rosies had a great second qtr with the breeze but the 3rd was even I thought and in the last Fitzroy started to kick back with a good term. It's only a trial but good to hear some scores, heard from one source Rosie's won by a point then the goal umpire said Fitzroy won by 2 points. Fitzroy had some key players out of the side and some younger guys stepping in was good to see as they seem to show they are on the right track for the season as a majority will be back for blackfrairs next week.

agree with you dee man rosies play a very good running game and look very very very fit, fitzroy have some serious height in there side which we all no you cant have enough big guys, both teams had players out but for a first hit out i was impressed with both teams but like most teams rossies and fitzroy wouldnt be playing all there cards in a trial. must say 14 for fitzroy is a gun think his been there for eva but gee he can play. no mattner or matz for rossies, have heard mattner has joined the force??. will be a massive loss best shot on goal i have seen for a long time.

your right, both teams had alot missing which is expected but i must admit i was very impressed with the rossies coach, his talk and the discipline in which rossies played
nelson is number 14 and is a great player and has been for a number of years
both teams were very young which all goes great for both clubs
mcpherson(33) was great for rossies and i believe they will have one of the better midfields in the division
observation i made that might be right or wrong but it looked like fitzroy have done alot more fitness work than skill over the summer so the fact their skill level was down that will now come with the changing of the training schedule
was talking to a couple of coaches watching the game and its always interesting to see what other people look at and what they notice

Heard there may be a couple season ending injuries that came out of Nth Haven's intra-club match on Thursday. I don't know what it is, but every time I have taken part in an intra-club match, someone always gets badly injured.

Do people think intra-club games are a waste of time?
