'The super star Jarrod Wareing returned last week and the brilliant Tom Lipson returns this week for the Thunder.' Surely are not the same two guys who I have seen play before. Admittedly it is a few years since they were both at North Haven together, when I saw them last, but no one improves that much. Do they have photos of whoever wrote that crap.

was that the same year jarrod came 5th in the A grade B&F from 4 games and Tom came runner up in the goal kicking while still only being 17 /18?

Have no idea who davo is lads but im sure he is trying to get a bite out of you.

I do however hate Jarrod Wareing, he stole my bike.

Your the only decent one down their Boosh (from some of the reports anyway). Yeah Jarrod steals trolleys from Kmart too

Not sure if that's true but I am the best bloke down there

Wareing is a scum bag
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Got told Lipson kicked 5 and Wareing a few for Portland as well. Really having a bad day   Golden Grove must be very ordinary for those guys to kick those goals  Might just as well chuck my x-lotto ticket in the bin now and not even wait for the draw tonight. Having an ordinary day

Judging by the write up on the amateur website for the Portland game, Lipson and Wareing are going to dominate this year? ;)

Well it's pretty hard to say how good Portland will be this year because despatching the crap we dished out on Saturday wouldn't have been hard for any team at the moment. We stink. Lipson and Waering made us look stupid and I gotta say, well done to them both cos the boys on the hill gave them plenty but they responded with goals so in the end we were eating humble pie. We haven't got a guy in form at the minute, in fact after the game we held a competition to draw a football and there was no winner... Our ball movement was slow and sloppy, our team work was below par and our pressure and attempt at thinking football just wasn't there. We got whooped basically. The B grade game ended up being a good win for us after a slow start and despite us having way more of the footy we just couldn't capitalise. Every time Portland had it they used it well, they just needed to get it a bit more. But a good game, played in good spirits. Spkoe to a few of the Portland boys in teh carpark after the game and they seem like a good bunch of lads.

One last thing. After the game the Portland lads outnumbered us 2 to 1 in the rooms which in my eyes is p1ss poor from our club and a huge credit to them. Yeah we had a poker night on and a few lads went home to get changed etc but our turn out for a beer afterwards was pathetic and probably represents where we are right now.

Well done Portland in all aspects of the day. Look forward to the return bout.
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

That was prety much the opposite back at our home deck mate. I sat down with your ump Mitchell and 5 GG lads and had a beer with them. I was the only one back after the game from our side! Agree ity;s not the best thing to have the visiting side out numbering your own but at least your guys stayed back and had a chat which was great.

In regard to your post Choccies i thought you guys had a few good players, Khundt was everywere racking up touches and the big man mountain that played a fair bit of time a kick behind battled pretty well i thought, Prior was dominant at CHB and no one from your side wanted to get anywere near our left footed wingman and Lipson was awsome in his first game back for some time after knee surgery, as for the crowd was rather enjoyable with some friendly banter going on, its always nice to be in a comfortable possition in the last when the crowd are giving a bit of stick,

Good win by the Lions saturday.

Everyones favourite thug put on a clinic and we controlled the game depsite Pembroke heaving a really good crack in the 3rd quarter. Unmpiring was alright, and the game was played in good spirits.

A bloke went off on a stretcher in the last quarter after getting tackled. Not sure what happened to him, but hope the fellas alright.

Geees Pembroke have some fit blokes - they bloody ran all day!

Interesting to see flinders only just got up?

It was good to finally notch up a win for every grade for the first time this year
Each grade are starting to gel abd get comfortable with each coaches gameplan
The game on the weekend was hard fought and apart from coceding early goals again, I thought we were in control for most of the game
Although happy to get a win on the board having conceded early goals in the 1st quarter and then conceding 3 goals in the last 5 minutes of the game. The result could have been alot different had we arrived swithced on from start to finish
I dont think there were too many standout players from either team, with alot of players playing their part and contributing
CBC had 2 less players out there for majority of the game, with Jarman choosing to tag Bangers and Thachy all game and both the CBC players got there pants pulled down
Looking forward this weeks triple header v Pooraka. Away wins are like gold for us right now
There is no Justin Bieber concert this week so look forward to seeing if a certain someone makes it out to training this week so he can start on the field ;)

You must have been especially proud of the hero who ran up behind an injured CBC player and gave him a smack across the head before running off like a scared little girl. Almost as brave as the bloke who said nothing when Jarman walked straight past him after the game but then unloaded a verbal tirade on him after he had gone into the change rooms. They really breed them tough up Para Hills way....

Yea we got off to a flyer with 5 goals to none in the first 15 minutes and went into 1/4 time 4 goals up. From there during the 2nd and 3rd quarter there intensity lifted yet we got 6 goals in front a couple of times then they kept coming back at us but could never narrow the margin down to 2 goals. In the last we got out again to around 6 goal lead and to Seatons credit they fought back but ran out of time. Overall they are a much better side than last year and they really took it to us after the first quarter. When they where on espec in the last 5 minutes of the game they were hard to stop.

Your half back line smashed us and our forward structure is pretty poor at the moment. Fair dinkum, we sat up on that hill and watched number 15 from your mob just do whatever he liked and we almost started to shake a can for him and get a collection going to buy the bloke a new pair of boots cos those ones would be worn to buggery after that game !! Yeah the boys on the hill had a bit of fun later in the game despite the fact we were getting seriously towelled. Taken in good spirits and returned where applicable too I must say ;)

yea 15 is the lad i was talking about playing off the wing, great for his confidence as he is a confidence player, if i have got the story correct choccies i think we may have met but to neither of our knowledge, i with a group of lads had a quick chat with a GG person in the car park about how there B grade were travelling, was that you? i thought your number 5 battled hard all day but found himself trying to do to much and trying to break tackles were he was caught more often than not, personally i love crowd getting in to people adds to the atmosphere but thought it was a bit strange that it mainly started in the last quarter when we put the game out of reach and one of the main recipients of the abuse was marking everything and kicked 5, just my oppinion though
