Mcneil believes he will be 6 weeks but have my doubts as i think he will have to have surgery to fix it. I think Curtis is away for two weeks maybe but not entirely sure and Kropinyeri i am unsure about aswell. But McNeil will be a big loss

Went and watched a great game of footy yesterday at Lindblm park. Pooraka and Pultney , 2 very good sides , just went at it for 2 and a bit hours, fast, hard footy, great to watch. Well done Pooraka to hang in there all day then step away in the end when it counted. Well done to the CHB who did a great job on Sarge. Pultney go to him all day and the umpires just love giving him easy goals. Great game and both sides will be up there at the business end of the season

Well done to the Golden Grove boys yesterday taking the clean sweep. Great attitude out there ( boy its a long way ). We need to step it up a fair bit if we are going to play finals and no better time then this week against Pultnet hopw to get a few key position players back. Cant string more than 2 quarters together at this stage.

got to agree the game was a cracker. the bulls last 10min of the 3/4 and first 10 min of the last was as good as you will see. Big Watts at FF was being held, scratched pulled and no free kick, ball goes down to perrie and nothing in it but wins a free, disgraceful umpires. Coghill at CHB was great and well done. thought Poorakas half back line were great inc little number 27.

Yesterday another good win by the Roys in both A's and B's...

But what I learnt yesterday is there are two things in common in the division.. And that is both the umpires and Salisbury west supporters are a bloody disgrace..

Never in my playing days have I witness a worse display of umpiring, it is a joke and needs to be looked at.

As for Salisbury west supporters... FU$&@NG no hopers... Your club has a very good up and coming side so supporters pull your heads in.. Nothing wrong with banter we all love that... Don't get personal though... There is a line that should not be crossed!!!

What does Barry Oates do for the Amateur League? f...all.
These umpires are a disgrace theres no two ways about it, unfortunately their in all grades at present but nothing is being done by the League.
The standard of our great game is being hampered by these so called maggots trying to make a name for themselves, they're doing that alright by drawing attention to themselves for the wrong reasons.
This League is slowly losing its credibility as knowone from the League is making a stance to correct it.
These so called video's being used by umpire observers are a joke in itself, we at Seaton had one recording our first game of the year against Portland, we had a player reported during the 1st qrts & we wanted to use the so-called video evidence to help our case & the reply we got from the League was NO as it ( the video ) was used for recording goal umpires only. ( CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? ) what an absolute disgrace this Amateur League is becoming.
We will lose more & more players & coaches to other Leagues because of it, if it doesn't improve fast.

A little to do with him, what he had to put up with yesterday was a disgrace, have a go at him about his height, his lack of hair, even his coaching ability that's all banter and as I said we love that stuff BUT don't cross the line and talk about his kids, and probably don't be swearing so the whole oval can hear it.. YES people might say to toughen up but just remember I'm not saying not to support and heckle just think about how far you want to take it, remember there are kids, grandparents and parents around and they all want to enjoy the game and not have to put up with the F's and C's flying around..

Cheers!

fair point mate! ... i don't understand y people have to have a crack at people's family (well mums excepted 'only joking' :) ) ... nah that flack is no good! ... but it surprises me that where ever he goes he cops a lot of flack from the sidelines! ... maybe club officials (ie the president) of the abusive supporter should approach the foul mouthed person and tell them to pull their head in or risk being suspended/barred from their club! ...

Round 5.

Pultney v Westminster by 12 pts Grand Final Rematch should be a beauty but the Blues at home just over the Dragons.
Fitzroy v Golden Grove by 24 pts both these sides were too good for the other at home last year so the Lions to get the points over the Kooka's
Greenacres v Pooraka by 1 pt Match of the Round & these side are in good form & the result can go either way..
Sailsbury v Salisbury West by 6 pts Maggies are in for a tough game in the local derby & if the Tigers play like last week the will get the win this week.
Woodville South v Unley by 18 pts Jets were impressive round 1 but that form looks long gone so the Cats to get up in this one..

This round will make or break some teams if they cant get a win...
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

I have a question about the Unley Jets.

I drive past every night and there seems to be training going on every night, however I can only find 3 teams D4, D4R & C4?

How many seniors do they have missing out every week ?
