Such is Smokey's brilliance that I doubt May will poll enough 3 vote games to get ahead of him.

He would be on 12 votes already this year I reckon. The only thing that will stop him is if all the umpires find out about Smokey and their wives.

I see Sean Chambers played Div 7 for TTG on the weekend. Were they just giving him match practice so he can hopefully save them from the Div 1 drop, or will he be a permanent player in Div 7? Getting on a bit but would be a very useful FF in Div 7.

I believe they had a few old heads more than happy to strap the boots on for the old rivals clash, shane maschotta had a run around for them on saturday as well i believe, from all reports he hadnt lost much touch. Modbury's C grade side had 6 or 7 Bgraders drop back (nice change from having 6 or 7 players taken from there side) so when i first saw the result i was suprised, had a quick peek at Gullies in's and it made more sense. . Chambo would be handy in any grade!

So I take it no bet then? :-?? Why make outlandish statements if you're not willing to back them up? Or perhaps you might want to retract the comment that Jarrod Gordon would be paying $1.00 for the Medal? I'll give you $3.00 for him. Wanna bet?

Wouldnt mind putting a few bucks on Rob Ogorman for the div 7 medal blokes been in their best nearly every week.

I would have thought that Rob O'Gorman will win by the Flemington Straight! Gets way too much of the footy to not get best on ground everyweek. Which game is the match of the round this week lads?

I think the North Pines Vs Mitchell Park game will be game of the round with maybe a bit of an upset in the Spiders coming away with the points in this one. Also Rob O'Gorman to win the medal so long as Brenton Reidy doesnt take too many votes away from him.

North Pines v Mitchell Park this week should be a great contest, If I wasn't going away I possibly would have ventured out to watch this one. Let's hope the weather stays clear but either way I reckon The Lions should get up, they have a few returning this week.....In other games Carroll should be the first person in the league to crack the ton this week v Flinders.

You can breathe a sigh of relief Riddler, Carroll kicked 8 goals today.

I wonder if he got his tonne and just walked off the field maybe

Correct. Coached his last game at Flinders yesterday. He spent nine years with the club tasting premiership success in 2002 and 2007.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Honestly who care the bloke gets looked after by the umpires so much, he would only be on 50 goals if he didn't get soft frees and also if the umps gave a free against him he would be stuffed.

The question I would be asking is why full-backs are being beaten by a player who can't jump or sprint?! Play off him, jump into a contest and have a half-back with a set of balls be prepared to zone off into the leading space.

I would think you will find the Umpires give him frees that are not there and they dont give frees against him so you can do all what you said and still get 5 kicked on you

Lockett broke the all time goal kicking in vfl/afl not really able to either of those things... its called good body work and a strong set of hands... oh bein able to kick straight.... plus good delivery into the forward line..
