From another angle IF success were to go Kenilworths way anytime in the future there are MANY good people both on and off the field that would thoroughly deserve it. Also I wish you and what ever club you're affiliated with the best for the remainder of the year and i'm sure they would also deserve any success they come across (i couldn't care how they got it either)

dont take this the wrong way LK but you should care..if you build a house on sand it will crumble..create a money culture of mercenaries and you will get short term success and long term pain..trying to buy flags in div 6 is fraught with danger down the track..paid players take the spots of kenilworth juniors and club people..that is not the situation you want if you are building to be a strong club for 5-10 years imo

Exactly, look at where it got CLG. But they tried it in Div 7 from memory..?

zedman wrote:thats correct SD..although i wasnt involved at the time, its the same sort of situation..and now that a lot of the flag players are gone the club has to deal with the current lack of quality depth, however i would add CLG had no teen junior grades or school affiliations to draw on so they are destined to always have to recruit players in until they get their 3 grades built back up to 5 or 6 junior teams...each to their own..as i said..its only my opinion and that probably doesnt matter to much
