well he did win our Players MVP last year, did say at presentation night that he will never leave the club, did sign a contract to play with us in 2010 & played a trial game - lets put it this way if your club B&F last year did all that and signed with you for 2010 would you clear him to play for a club that you play against

Yes I would, he's still young enough to not burn the bridge, as a coach I'd want to know that the 21 selected players each week have their heart 100% in the right place.

I think big Bells doesnt really know who he wants to play for as he is torn between you guys and us and I dont think he wants to play against either side - I am sure it will work itself out

I'll settle this...

...we'll take him ;)

There were some promising signs for us last night, Joss has the boys pretty fit and the 2nd string players from last season have lifted a notch.
It was good to see us not reliant on Steve Taylor who only played about 10 minutes, he rolled his ankle and sat the rest of the game out for precautionary measures.
To the Haven's credit, they kept up the endeavour for the whole game, I think they scored the last two goals for the night, they were a pretty young group.

I know Stansborough played in the Central United trial, I'm not too sure about Ace though.

We won pretty comfortably, it was a 6 6th's match, we played B graders and those who haven't attended training on a regular basis first and then the regular trainers after that. Those that we wanted to have a look at as part of the team structure came on for the last two stanza's.
Going back a few weeks ago I thought there would be a severe lack of depth and a poor B grade, the problem I see now is that there is going to bit a huge gap in fitness level for those who haven't been on the track constantly.
Our game style in the A's will require everyone out there to be fit so the better B graders will have to do extra work to catch up.

no chance we dont win many A Grade medals as generally blokes steal votes off each other - infact over the 45+ years the club has been going only have had 2 A Grade medal winners - the closest we have come since being in the SAAFl was in 2008 when we finished 9th and Damo Millar was runner up

heccies have 6 triple headers this year. The ones at home will see the As n Bs play a bit earlier and then Cs will play after. For away games, Cs start at 10
