Thought the B's would win easily, but thought the A's would have been closer. Showed more discipline this week.

Not making excuses for the 20goal smashing, but it was the worst display of umpiring i had seen for a very long time. I think its time for Barry Oates to stop scraping the bottom of the barrel for div 7 and start giving the lower grades umpires that arent borderline retarded.

But as usual teams get questioned by the hierarchy if the complain about umpires and just to pi55 you off you get them the next week, I am suprised from what class of umpires we have had that there hasnt been a riot at our games.

Plus the umpire reported our bench 'apparently' for abusive language and he was that mindless he actually put the wrong quater that it happend in, now i know that umpires are protected species and you cant say anything about them but thats the problem, how will they know when there absolute 5hit if you cant tell them.

Anyway ive had enough of these umpires and the league needs to fix this problem before things get out of hand.........................................................................

There is a major problem with umpiring at the moment. And yes the lower grade will get worst umpires. But there is a major shortage that can really only be fixed by making the idea of umpiring more lucrative. ie more funds. Regardless of what you think Barry Oates is the one to fix it.

I think there would be more umpires if the old umpires stopped giving unpiring a bad name.

Kells the umpire we had agaisnt Athlestone was the worst display of umpiring i have seen. Cant remember his name but we have had him for years, Big fella who umpires from the same spot doesnt move. After the game i had to ttry control our players and officals from giving him a serve. You are right they will start a riot one day
