I think we have to just accept that the B grade umpires aren't going to be the best, may in fact favour their own team  and just hope that they protect the bloke with his head over the ball and try let the players just play. I know personally that it's just really not worth worrying about it too much or you start to focus on things out of your control. Just accept that they aint going to be much chop and try and enjoy your game !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Are Smosh that good or are your mob in dire straits LMA. The whisper around the western suburbs is that Districts are in big trouble.
Seaton are a young side and shouldnt be underestimated. We have finally got a bunch of lads at the club who really want to be here (and finally F-ed Off the whingers and money hungry maggots that have been here over the last few seasons). If we can stay up this year we will only improve next year. The battle is to win enough games in this competitive div to be there next year.

A couple of blokes you were referring to i believe you were seen talking to them on the weekend ( Muscara, Fenney both who ventured to Two Wells ) persuading them to come back.
Apparently you have signed them back up.
Are you going to be honest & upfront with them & tell them what you think? No i doubt it very much, no balls, never had them & never will have them.  nothings changed.
Talk about running jokes!

Whats that gonna do? They won't listen to anyone.

Clubs should stand up & tell the SAAFL to get rid of the trainee umpires to lower grades or start to boycott some games??
Is was trialled last year & no good then & hasn't changed.. NOT GOOD ENOUGH SAAFL, I thought it was the clubs that ran SAAFL?? send these trainees to div1 res or down to 5 or 6?

If you think he's a cheat you should lay off the crack... I watched portland v PH B's on the weekend & portlands umpire is on pace with pembroke's osborne.... It was funny as PH were coming home strong & couldn't get the ball it's 50m arch due to that dirty cheat pulling rubbish free's out his but!!! Portland should be disgusted in that old man, but i guess if that's they want their b's to win games good luck to them... Not to mention the goal umpire holding up his arms directing their forwards where to kick...

Disagree. Portland's B grade umpire was very fair against us.. Might not have been the worlds greatest umpire but there was no bias and protected the players hwo wanted the ball/put their head over the ball.

FTR St peters is still the worst I've ever seen.

Both the umpires were prett average, Portlands bloke is usually fair or leaning towards opposition. The only thing worse than the umpiring was the "rats tail" on a guy from Para Hills. Its not 1985

Still the short fat guy, kinda balding, white/grey hair? He was jsut a dead set cheat. Some of teh worst decisions you've ever seen, and would overrule the other uumpire at will, reverse free kicks for nothing, 25m galore fior anything.

that would be him! clown!

on the portland and PH's blokes from seeing them last year. the portland bloke had his moments but from the games we played them the PH's bloke wasnt too bad but again had some shockers (as they all do). you just had to make sure you had a stong umpire of your own. the issue a lot of the times starts when the other umpire lets these blokes overrule them and take over.

they all like there 2hours of power! ;)

Spot on piccachu, Joey earnt his stripes last year & was consistant on the track, didn't miss training unlike alot of others yet there are a few down there that thought he was getting a game coz the coach so called ( loved him ) He was close to leading the goalkicking for god sake. I think realistically it comes down to jeolousy, where some thought they were better than what they are & better than Joey but honestly they were just B graders, some of those are playing A grade at present. ( it shows the drop in the comp )
A good start to the year always see's players wanting to return after defecting for $$$, it amazes me the same people that so called ( p!$$ed them off ) wants & with open arms let them return. =))

Don't start this you had your favorites last year and you know it. Man up and admit that on occasions you didn't have the guts to make the tough calls on certain players certain players you favored and let get away with things you pulled others up on. Maybe these players have realized it is a better place to be now maybe you can't handle that

I can handle alot more than you can loser. ( BE HONEST ) Your still upset i'm not around the place like many others are, its obvious there are a few like you that have nothing better to do than be critical of someone that brought so much to your club in all areas, your club might not of won a flag in that time but they were always up there in Div 1 or Div 2 & very competitive ( 2 Div 2 grand finals, kept in Div 1 for 3 years ) your club was alway financial because of the sponsorship i brought to the club, gee if only you had all that now.
These players you are talking about that all left, they all left because i had resigned plus a couple more went to Henley so get your facts right, you blokes were sh!tting yourselves whether you could field a side in 2011. Sitting top now after 4 games you think your premiers already, nothings changed in that sense. ( who have you played  )
I think your the one that should admit that when tough calls were made by the coach you & your fellow couterparts wern't happy as you blokes have never been used to team rules and disciplines. Its a shame the young ones had been brainwashed by you & your "white ant tribe" those kids down the track will see for themselves what disrespectful, dishonest ants you are.
That presentation speech still haunts you doesn't it? The truth is known to hurt those that are affected by it.
I'm glad to have nothing to do with your club & the few backstabbing, undermining people involved down there. L-)

Would there be any chance that the Seaton v Portland game in a few weeks can be transferred to Thebarton or played under lights so that we can all get there. Should be a cracker. The league or some of the clubs might even make some big money. Largs Reserve under lights sounds good. Think I know who I will be backing - glad I will be there and looking forward to it ;)

Thats not that bad, in games I have seen in the country mainly the Specer Gulf it is common to have 30min to 33min quarters due to time on being called.

Flipper, how did the CBCOC boys respond to Geordi Haklar playing against his team when he lined up for Flinders on the weekend. I heard he was pretty average from a mate of mine but didnt get to see the game myself.
