No Luke McDonnell staggers me. I guess averaging 5 goals a game isn't good enough.

to be honest i probably agree with that if its based on goals for
against the competition he has and the talent and size he has got ,with who you are playing against,he should kick around 130 plus goals for the year
now before the arse jockeys come out and say all the crap they normally would about team plans, spread ect and the competion is better than that and you are showing no respect think about it for a second
he averages 80 goals a year
he will kick at least 30 plus against flinders uni this year
their are another two if not more than that teams who would struggle against big forward
a mid field shoving the ball down your throat all day
and again the the best captain in the league to help him out

TTG's Ben Noske is also an exceptional leader, wouldn't be much between them deeman. Also morrell Luke has only kicked 5 goals against the top 5 teams so far. Guess I understand at this point of time along with his "holiday" he probably isn't at this point. :D

While I hate to bag someone putting together a list like this, never an easy job, I would have thought (from a Henley perspective) Loveder and Bennetts should have been in ahead of Boucher and Bellingham. Bouch and Zac are both very good players at this level and look to be having good seasons, and granted I've seen very little football this season. But Bennetts would have to be the best ruckman in the Division, possibly next next couple of higher divisions as well (when not injured). Loveder would just about be the Sharks best and most consistent players over the past 5-6 years, he rarely has a bad game. A bad game for Hooker is anything less than about a dozen marks at CHF - if he could kick further than 35m he'd probably have played 6 years of D1 rather than D6/7. Just my 2 cents, like I said, picking these lists is never easy.

Cannot help you there mate, unfortunately I have not been one of them out on the track! But Henley's C/D grade have a history of starting to see a few old faces rocking up approaching mid-season, especially when finals are looking a good chance. I would imagine they will only get stronger over the next month or so and should be a real challenger come finals time.

Willie Sansbury is number 11 on that list and has only suited up once this year, maybe you dont need to play to be influential.

Most of your lads were great( although number 4 had a few angry pills). I did have a few laughs with a couple of them during the game. I did notice a few old Glandore lads running around. Played with them years ago.

Cory is going well. Has kept the wings tucked in nicely so far. He is expecting a warm reception tomorrow. So could possibly a couple others who have played at Smithfield in the past.

I wasnt meaning anything stupid would happen. A few of Corys mates who play at Smithfield have let him know any mistakes he makes he will know about it. If Nth Pines was having a big celebration like Smithfield are on Saturday I would expect anybody who was playing against us that had previously played for us to receive a fair bit from the crowd. I dont expect anything but a fair, hard game of football to be played on the field but I do expect a fair bit of support to be shown to Smithfield from their supporters.

Phil who are you talking about? We have a young fella in for his first game this year who use to play at Smithfield and could have been 2 but his brothers clearance is still pending.

Phil Furner, in your magoo's. I didn't recognize any other names. Should be a good day, a good chance to catch up with some mates I haven't seen since last millenium.

I didnt know big Phil played out at Smithfield. The young fella Reggie I think may have played juniors out there but definately played at least a year of seniors for Smithfield. His older brother David was keen to try get the clearance through so he could play this week against his old side but it didnt happen.
