I know Flinders Park are (who will also be in Div 3) so I was just curious if its in GG's plans or not?

I doubt we would be S Demon, just with the extended benches in the C competitions most players get a game each week, we were picking 50 guys to play C and D grade each week and still had guys miss ot, add another bunch off under 18s coming through I would not think we would stop an extra 8. Add to that I cant see us being competitive against these sides yet.

I think you raise a valid point Tex, experiencing it first hand in the D-Grade the amount of blokes that were left out each saturday adding another 8 blokes and a bunch of 18s coming through and players returning, the figure could reach almost another side missing out each week, and our club is not interested in an E-Grade. So for that reason alone I would want to stay out of D7 and D7R

If so he will find it a massive step and couldnt see him playing much Div 1 purely due to his body size. But you cant blame a kid for having a crack at div 1 clubs. The lure the big Div 1 clubs use is strong and hard to resist! What you need to ensure is that the lads come back to the club!

I tend to agree with you there FS... Johnny didn't really set the game alight this year as much as he usually does and I would have thought a step up to div 3 would be a challenge in itself, but as you said, the Div 1 clubs have the coin and it's a ncie carrot to dangle.

I'm told the footy trip shirts said it all, "minor premiers, major chokers". Ain't that the truth and all p*ssed before they got to the first stop, the Inglewood Inn.

No idea who was who, was having my usual Friday night quiet couple of frothies and 'bang", a bus full of blokes heading to Mannum for their footy trip crash through the door..
