I see kenilworth have picked up Dustin Georgeson. He trained with us for 2wks, couldn't handle the hard work so I guess he went the easy option of div 5 footy

Tried to be upfront and explain my situation and do the right thing for my family as a club with 2 kids my kids age Vs a club with 30 kids my kids age i did the right thing and am really enjoying kenilworth. pretty easy to judge Div 5 footy there Holly...maybe the mitcham people weren't accommodating to him the way he wanted so he chose to go elsewhere...and i use the words accommodating in a polite sense to what I really think so you can fill in the blanks....he Trained for 2 weeks sussed the club, went elsewhere...Im sure it happens to hundreds of footballers over SA each year

AL have trials against pultney at home and unley at unley. will be another cracker year!

Interesting to see how many of these in's play a grade. AL have 15 ins and i can assure you two thirds of these players will not play an a grade match.

is this similar at other clubs?

Totals include Approved, Denied, Pending & Permits. It does not include retirees, blokes going overseas, etc...

it really doesnt nmatter if all the ins play A grade or Bgrade,what it does is help teams with depth which is the most important aspect of the team
with the long season,injuries,work ect take tolls on clubs and to have the depth to cover these will be paramount come the business end of the season

IMO I'd say about one third, 6-8 of our 22 ins will be in the A grade 21, I guess we'll wait and see.

I have wondered about how many of AL's and Glenunga's pick ups are possible A graders, looks like for our two clubs it's about the same.

APPROVED PLAYER POINTS SYSTEM (“APPS”)
1. Basis of the APPS
The basis of the APPS is as follows:
1.1 An Affiliated League Club must not field players in its Senior (A Grade) Team in any game which exceed the total points which have been allocated to that Club under the Total Points Rating. (Refer clause 2.1 below).
1.2 The APPS will only apply to Senior (A grade) Teams.
1.3 “Junior Football” means a competition in which players must be under the age of 18 years on a prescribed date in the calendar year in which that competition is conducted.
1.4 “Junior Player” means a player under the age of 18 years who has played a minimum of 25 games from the year in which he turns 13 years of age with the Club of an Affiliated League with which he is seeking registration.
1.5 A player who is the child of a Club Life Member can be registered with that same club and they will attract zero (0) points.
1.6 A player transferring from one Affiliated League Club to another Affiliated League Club and who is under the age of 18 and has played a combined total of more than twenty (20) games at SANFL Under 18, Reserves and/or League level – attract 2 additional points.

Wonder if all these North Haven juniors meet this criteria?

different clubs have different criteria on becoming a life member - games played, consecutive service etc.
so if a player has played his junior footy with a club, apart from his dads, can go to his dads club for zero points.
i have heard whispers of certain clubs giving fathers / parents life memberships to attract players for zero points.

Who'd change the club to get players in at zero points? Unley Mercedes Father-Son Footy Club??

North Haven's life membership rules are you must play 100 games and 10 years with a minimum of 3 games in each of those years. As a life member I would leave and play somewhere else if the club ammended those rules to make someone's son worth zero points and I reckon a lot of others would feel the same.

Correct Beached all would be considered though out of them I came up with Grech, Morris, Lynch, C Lipson, T Lipson, Wilkinson and Summerton to be in the best 21 with the others of course in serious contention.
