CU never have and never will do anything wrong

Has CU punished the 'supporter' who came on the oval and hit one of Modbury's young players?

Come on please, what happened to your bloke was wrong but the actions of that particular CU player were disgraceful!

This CU player who headbutted isn't the promising young fella out there, who wears the same numbers on his back & has bright coloured boots? If it is, this young bloke is notorious for giving 'Cheap Shot' head butts and the sooner an umpire catches him doing it, the better the comp will be.

The young guys from CU do it because they know if something happens the other players have their back and most times if your having a go at a young fella the crowd yells out he is only young, if he is only young then play juniors, maybe if he was taught better he might not go around giving cheap shots to people who could do some real damage

i couldnt agree with you more.. but the fact is that they have played juniors and now they are ready to come up we have the likes like brad woodward matty hareen daniel cook and there are plenty of others that are playing great footy and are being watched by other teams as a dangerous player and they are 16, 17 or 18 years of age.. its div 7 footy if u think u are better then that go off like mr m did havent herd or seen from him.. from what i have herd does not bag the club anymore.. and if u think they are going to try clock some one that can do real damage so be it let it happen it will teach them a lesson they are young and have a fire inside to hard footy they are at the age where they have courage so as long as they keep play good footy with what they are doing not much will change..

nah nah we are taking each game as it comes not looking forward to much more then the next game sure we would love finals but we have a lot to do yet after the poor start to the season we had we need to make up for it.. trying to push our way into the top 3 would be great but credit to the top 4 sides they are making us work hard for it

Central United have an easier run home than any other team and I expect them to not lose another game in the minor round. With pretty good percentage and with some of the top 4 sides to still play each other I think they will finish top 2.

yeah dont get me wrong we would love that but some teams that are not all that flash still have the ability to make an upset.. so we are just going to take each game as it comes. we have in the next few weeks to a few big names hoping to come back into the side which is handy but wait and see with how the top 6 are anythink could happen very close

Great to see the MAESTRO is back with Mawson Lakes getting up and onwards to the Flag. Was only a matter of time before the "Great Man" had the boys firing. A very good side and well coached.

4/5 Think Carey has it in the bag now.

It was Ladies Day on Saturday as the Mawson Lakes Saints hosted the Angle Vale Owls on a windswept Saturday in a game pivotal to both club's seasons. A huge marquee had been set up for the ladies of Mawson Lakes and for all the champagne you could drink for $5, most had a pretty good time. However and an important game of footy was being played and the Saints had lost their last 4 and were in danger of slipping out the 5, while the Owls had to win to keep their finals chances alive.

While a hurricane had hit Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval the night before, the ground conditions were relatively good for both sides and a strong breeze was favouring the Southern End. The Saints won the toss and made use of the favourable kicking end, but despite a scoreless first 10 minutes took to the first break with a 4 goal lead. The Owls fought back with the wind in the 2nd term but couldn't bridge back the gap on the scoreboard making it easier for the Saints to break open the game in the 3rd quater. Saints onballers Glen Meulendyks, Steven Papayianis and Lachlan Kennett were having a field day, with the skipper Kennett producing a couple of his inspiring trademark running goals. The Ladies from the MLFC by this stage were ticking along nicely and were liking what they saw from 'Mr September' Shane Stanley as he controlled the back half for the Saints. Whispers coming from the tent, was that some of the ladies would like Stanley to control their back half too. With many inebriated girls watching the final term, they didn't miss much as the Saints piled on 7 behinds in a row and couldn't secure a heap of much needed percentage. For the Owls, James Koisee had a great battle with Ivan Novosel (3 goals) while Ruckman Scott Burgess showed why he was greatly missed the last time these teams met. Angle Vale will now feel compelled to miss the major round, but coach Steve De Jager has a youthful group to work with, and if he can keep them together, things look promising for the Owls. For Mawson Lakes it's a matter of 'Keep Winning' to stay in the 5, and now has it's focus on the Modbury Hawks.
