As I have said to many people and on here. Lonsdale will destroy D7. Loveridge 12 months ago was a KPP at one of SA footballs strongest football clubs and Adam Rigney played reserves footy and is in his mid 20's. Is Trev Rigney heading back? At his peak was one of the best local footy players I have ever seen and even at 35 would still cause decent problems at D7 level...

I really hope Lonsdale do have success, but I think they will just be happy to win a few games of footy before talking flags

What is the depth of these SFL sides like?

Guess time will tell how the sfl clubs fit in to div 7.
I wouldnt rule out marion surprising alot of people next year.
From what i hear they have recruited quite afew
and alot have returned to the club after a couple of years away.
As well as retaining 99% of this years team.

That's for sure we need to learn how to win again and get back to enjoying our footy. To say our boys are excited for 2018 would be a massive understatement....

Some of the money Marion are throwing around in d7 is mind boggling.

I think it's time for The Bedge to give us a Premiership Market

This mean you’re going around again at Lakes next year?

Market might be too hard - so many unknowns! If I get bored tomorrow may have a crack.

Wait for November clearance window to close perhaps.

I'll revisit in the new year, but my initial gut feels based purely on face value, i'd have the pecking order looking somewhat like this:

1. OSBL
2. Mawson Lakes
3. Central United
4. Houghton Districts
5. Mitchell Park
---------------------------
6. Marion
7. TTG
8. Flinders Uni
9. St Pauls
10. North Pines

Notes
* It's been well documented OSB are somewhere between D6 and D7 which I believe positions them better than most.
* Mawson Lakes were a rabble last year, but still had a quality top handful. Add O'Gorman in the mix and a few handy recruits, they'll be comfortable in D7.
* Central United have Woodward back, he'll win games off his own boot. Simple.
* Houghton are similar to Mawson Lakes - good top group, but falls away. Their depth is better through the B grade than Lakes, but so far it appears the Mozzies have recruited better calibre than the Raiders.
* Mitchell Park with a disrupted off season losing their coach and losing a swag of players down the road, be interesting to see how they can respond. Cant see much quality in depth through their club that will help late in the season when injuries hit.
* Marion I suspect may be mid table with some good wins and some close loses, should be a good transition year for them.
* TTG are a little unknown, and if they'll play in this div and who will play - could easily go as high as top, or fade away low.
* Flinders Uni - shit club
* St Pauls - looks like half the clubs gone to Greenacres, they're gonna struggle. Shit club.
* North Pines - great facilities, shit club.
