how do you feel about the restrictions, in particular, loss of premiership points tied to any suspensions?

Actually read that in the local rag today. From what I understood of Grant Goodalls comments it related to on field melees. The club will get fined for 1st offence, fined more for 2nd offence and 3 strikes a maximum penalty plus the probability of loss of premiership points. Sounds reasonable to me because very few clubs would ever get to that point. We are mostly a lot more professional these days. Just my view. :)

That's the first I've heard about that mate, but our coach won't put up with any of that he wants to put the club in the right place, and dosent want any drama it's all about playing footy and having our heads screwed on!

I'll be the first to congratulate you if there is an incident free season from smithfield
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

That's the new melee rule that applies to all clubs Yank Man.

I believe Q may be speaking of some other T&C's that apply to Smithfield as part of them being allowed to register for season 2014.

Sorry FC, read it a bit differently. I would think those T&C's would now be attached to ALL clubs now. It's in the Guardian Messenger Panthers and a full page spread. There was no mention of your club, just a generalisation.

Barring a miracle I doubt it. Still a few clubs above Div 7 in strife. Including ours. :(

Flinders Uni were having an urgent meeting at the club last night as advertised on their Facebook page.

How did it go? Will they be fielding teams in Div 7 this year?

Would love to know what happened there for it to go so wrong so quick. They had 80 or so players last season..

Was it anything to do with the coach? Is the same coach there this season?
